    Brands is an intense dude. Ask him what he thinks about the McRib returning only to participating locations and he'll get fired up. He's just built like that. Seriously though, he has to double down and push back on the decision because it's his fault that several wrestlers were out of compliance. The buck stops with him and I'm sure he and Ferentz have caught heat from the AD and administration. They're trying to preserve their jobs.

    France doesn't get automatic qualifiers for wrestling. Not having gold matches at the Continentals and World Qualifier is puzzling. Why not wrestle through for seeding purposes? Maybe I'm not understading the change correctly.

    Can't remember where I read it, but I believe the rumor was that he was getting $200k a year for his WWE contract. But that could have been part of his NIL deal when he was in school.

    Hard to imagine A&M adding sports, even with next year's ESPN money, now that they have to deal with Jimbo Fisher's insane buyout. Where are the wrestling hotspots in Texas? Maybe UTEP or UTSA? I thought both regions had a pretty good wrestling culture at the prep level. Strong for Texas, that is.
