  1. what a beautiful post! I especially like what you said about Terry "having a penchant for wanting to help the kid who is down on his luck and/or incapable of totally controlling himself" After reading that I quickly thought of Tom (I believe) who drove from Iowa to PA to try and convince Kemmerer not to leave the team, how they rallied around Brandon Sorenson to name a few. I know these guys have good hearts which is why I still root for them on occasion. I personally love comeback stories involving those with challenges (Desanto) others might not experience. Marsteller comes to mind - so happy to see his success. I just feel its time for someone else to take over the reins at IA.
  2. seems like a lot of the big matches throughout the country are taking place - lets keep that ball rolling!
  3. Admittingly I'm far from educated as some of you, however I do love the sport like all of you. Leave the guy alone. Some of us like him. You don't like him, block him. Its as simple as that.
  4. what an excellent post....... but you stole you're own thunder by adding that last sentence- wasn't necessary. Imagine this board attracting multitudes of NEW contributors as excited about there particular team and objective as Cinnabon is about Penn State. That's what we wrestling fans want!!!!
  5. Hey Vak - its nice to have to here in the states during this years big dance in March. Last year it seemed you were overeseas with no connection but suddenly a miracle happened and you were back on board. Glad it worked out!
  6. This board needs plenty more "Freds" to balance out this board. EXCELLENT feedback Fred!
  7. They should be regardlesss of the outcome. In the business world some companies elevate terrific salesman to managerial status. I applaud those who promote from within, however in many cases a great salesman does not mean they have what it takes to motivates others. Same with wrestling where top tier wrestlers with all kinds of accomplishments move up to coaching. Sometimes it works and the wrestler transitions well and sometimes it doesn’t. In my humble opinion the Brands bros lack what it takes in today’s collegiate wrestling world and need to go.
  8. Looks like the big bellied boomers are at it again. All this effort to minimize one of the boards best contributors only emboldens him to create even more interesting topics resulting in multi page participation that includes most of you.
  9. Glad the one trick pony is gone which allowed a crop of young talented and well rounded 125lb’ers to show their stuff. My pick to win it all: Matt Ramos
  10. Regardless of what happens Friday night I say Bartlett wins it all in a March.
  11. This only solidifies for me the pin of all pins was LEGIT.
  12. Brands have officially ruined a dynasty - I hope they get CRUSHED!
  13. yea but this thread is already on its 3rd page. lol!
  14. I'd like to hear what others here have to say about the potential impact on our sport.
  15. BIG announcers did an excellent job last night as they always do. The sport needs a dozen more Sparks to bring more excitement and attention to the sport. He's one of the best in my opinion.
  16. Parents misbehaving at sports events seems to be happening a lot with each passing year but this is ridiculous.
  17. I believe you're mistaking his being objective with trolling. What ever his motivation is by being an active contributing member of this group, most of you jealous clowns still participate in his threads.
  18. JC continuously provides thought-provoking threads while many of you just like to provoke. IMO I'd like to see more contributors to this board like Jimmy Cinnabon.
  19. guess he was looking for an easy shoe-in win on Sunday to attain his 60th straight win. Yea, he ducked and then came up with some idiotic reason why he did so. Marque matchup ducks like this one are ruining the sport.
