Boring but fixable in my opinion. Of course people would hate how I would try to fix it and thus my opinion but that's about how it goes here.

He wasn't answering a question. That was during the match. After the match he was talking about himself instead of the guy the who he should be talking about. Stating plainly he would be coming after starocci and his bad knee. Making the whole thing about himself rather than giving props and trying to cut a promo. Let the guy who just won cut the promo. Nothing at NCAAs was about Jordan and he couldn't shut up about himself. Even referring to himself in the third person. Saying his own name during multiples finals matches. It's childish selfish behavior and if you don't beleive me go listen to people booing and sneering at him. Why do you think that happened if he's all class? Did the crowd boo like that every time someone beat a penn state guy? Nope.

I just watched with new and casuals and GR turned them off and tuned them out of the whole thing. Different points of view, me and you, oh well.

I'm an ASU guy. I don't really have a dog in this fight. I love how JB wrestles I just wish he was mute. I kind of feel the same about Penn state except I'm more in awe of what they are doing than love how they are winning.

The exposure to GR isn't helping Greco its hurting Men's free style grouping them. WFS is increasing fast and can stand alone.

No one loves JB more than JB not even you knob slobberers. I'm not going to list all the reasons JB isn't getting love and is getting booed but it's not out of nowhere.

And I have no problem with that. Why taint your best product which is already not doing well with even less popular styles? Let them stand on merit. I would have watched some WFS. I would not have watched GR. If that's the case what's the problem? People want more MFS weights at the Olympics? Great get rid of the style no one cares about and focus on MFS and WFS. More resources for your better styles.

I was watching on delay so I couldn't get match order without spoilers and I shouldn't need an auxiliary app to follow a sport I've watched since I was only crawling. You can say it doesn't hurt to group styles but It's simply not true. I had some friends over and even some first time viewers and the WFS and GR turned them off and they likely ain't coming back. The truth is MFS is hardly popular why burden it even more so with styles that are known to be even less popular?

The matches seemed to be in almost no order at all for most of the tournament for sure. It was frustrating. People can say that the schedule was available online, and it was but why not just do things in order? Why show a WFS and Greco-Roman match for every MFS? It makes for a frustrating and boring experience that no one wants. This is not the way to push WFS or Greco-Roman it will foster contempt. I don't need to expand on why random order is idiotic but I will say tournaments are hard enough to catch the matches you want when the order is intuitive. Making it random and having to have a treasure map makes it worse. Awful product, can't wait till Monday so Pyles can tell us what an amazing product it is though.

Imagine saying a type of wrestling where one dudes entire objective is to stall on bottom is better than folkstyle. Freestyle is bottom of the barrel homie. It's more exciting than Greco-Roman but folkstyle and sumo destroy it in every possible category. It is a philosophical mess of a sport. It has no aim and is balanced around quick turns which makes for horrific scoring and overall a slop fest of a sport. You are welcome to like it but if you want to say it's better than folkstyle bring receipts and be prepared to realize no one watches free and its for a lot of reasons.

Maybe if jb stops talking about himself. I'd prefer DT. Or a more humble JB sure. Also you need one of the establishment types like Sparks who can go off leash but is also great at being a puppet for the network.

Robles, gibbons, Sparks is the golden standard in my opinion. All knowledgeable, all professional, all passionate. Well gibbons can seem less so but he is.

I just double checked and he was very vague. Stating the tournament is run the same as it always has and wrestling hasn't changed since the 40s. Said someone told him they would rather claw their eyes out than watch. It's a garbage take. Love DC but people watch golf, they watch swim, thrre was a period where bowling was on fire. And unless he can get specific he has said nothing helpful.

I Hate to tell you but he went on social media and said he's not coming back and that the rules or way the tournament was ran (can't remember which) suck basically.

Its not a lack of consequence that makes edge wrestling better in folkstyle its that you can still score actual wrestling maneuvers with even one toe in. Pushing isn't a wrestling move and it shouldn't be worth a darn thing.
