    You'd be incorrect. https://static.lehighsports.com/custompages/Record Books/Wrestling/Wrestling Record Book 081323.pdf Says "# of Championships". Also has the photos of 22 guys whose records include six multiple championships (22+6=28).

    Yeah, it seems like the whole purpose of the rule change was to better clarify what needs to have occurred. What Starocci did was not in line with that clarification. What scenario was the change supposed to address?

    FWIW, Mike Grey's email update indicates that Vito will be ok: "He definitely knocked some rust off and I expect to see him in top form at the NCAA tournament. I believe in my guys more than anyone and I expect to see Vito on the top step when the dust settles. "

    Pardon the interruption, but is that 28 individual champions, or 28 individual championships won? And 160 actual All-Americans, or 160 All-American medals won? The Lehigh record book seems to say the former version, but lists the latter version.

    To me, that is the first topic. Just as Dean vs. Nickal was predicted to be both the last final Saturday night and to anoint the Hodge winner, I think that the 197 final, expected to be Brooks vs. Hidlay, will be the same.
