  1. That's disappointing. So without a TV provider (no BTN), and it not being streamed on B1G+, and no radio coverage, I'm left with what? X/Facebook updates?
  2. Not having a TV provider (and thus no BTN), the next best thing to keep track of tOSU vs. Cornell next week is radio. What station would be best for streaming the audio, if tOSU wrestling matches are streamed at all?
  3. Answer the questions, please. Let's find out what you think is acceptable and what is not. I, for one, cannot remember anyone taking a swing at an opponent. Again: under what circumstances is it *not* a DQ offense to take a swing at your opponent?
  4. Do you dispute that he took a swing at Glazier? Do you think it matters whether it was a "punch" or a "slap?" Do you think there are *any* circumstances (other than self-defense) under which a swing at your opponent is justifiable or excusable or a non-DQ action?
  5. 174: Gabe Arnold (Unattached) decision Lennox Wolak (Columbia), 4-1 SV Really surprised by this. I had thought Arnold would leave various body parts that used to belong to Wolak on the mat. Foca TF'ed and MD'ed Wolak last year at 174. Heck, Cornell grey shirt Simon Ruiz beat Wolak 5-1 in November of this year.
  6. The tomato industry in Alabama came to a halt when they tried this, so, yeah. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/oct/14/alabama-immigration-law-workers Or were you being sarcastic about this and the "climate hoax"? In which case, props!
  7. In cycling, the Tour of California was once sponsored by Amgen (maker of EPOGEN, or synthetic EPO). The irony...
  8. No, you don't know the particular circumstances of anyone on the Cornell team.
  9. You know what? I don't know, and neither do you nor anyone else on this board. I choose to believe these guys, who have been stand-up people. Others choose to believe they are lying.
  10. Same deal with Darmstadt, who was on a higher trajectory, and had to hang it up after only two college seasons due to injury. He's now with Koll at UNC.
  11. So, Grey is lying, Yianni is lying, Vito is lying, and Ramirez was faking his injury in the Pitt match. Got it.
  12. So they won't be wrestling the day after tomorrow when everyone else is wrestling? Odd.
  13. Brett Ungar doesn't have a chance to win an NCAA title. Just not enough horsepower.
  14. "Hurt," as everyone here seems to be defining it, is different than "injured."
  15. That's just not true that "everyone is always hurt," and I'm pretty sure you know that. This whole thing is getting more and more stupid.
  16. You didn't watch Ramirez in the Pitt match, did you? I stopped reading here, sorry.
  17. Because they weren't hurt when they scheduled this, and they weren't hurt when they went to Tennessee? Is this a trick question?
  18. If we were to look at Intermat's current rankings, we perhaps see which of the Ivy League and the EIWA is better positioned for AQs (and thus NQs): 125: Ivy 4, (new) EIWA 2 133: 3, 4 141: 3, 2 149: 2, 2 157: 2, 1 165: 3, 5 174: 3, 1 184: 4, 4 197: 4, 2 285: 1, 5 Ivy has half the schools, and the same number of ranked guys (and before you say, well, Cornell, they have nobody ranked at 149 and 174).
  19. It's a dual meet in December. Taking no chances.
  20. So, random guy on Internet is calling Mike Grey a liar. Got it.
  21. Watch the damned match and then tell us that Ramirez didn't tweak an ankle or thereabouts during the Pitt match. But hey, he shoulda gone against David f'ing Carr with a sore ankle. Cause fans!
