  1. Lol... those kids aren't the Bassetts and Gibsons that go to McCourt. He refers to himself as those kids uncle.
  2. I'll dunk on Minnow when I please. Curious, who weighed in on the current scumbaggery first: Pyles or Minnow? Genuinely curious. And what does this specific case have anything to do with Minnow's fanbase in NJ? Keep in mind that the wording he chose was to make his disciples think "Uncle Pat" (super creepy nickname he gave himself) was real real cool. Not to mention he used silly memes and made it all about him.
  3. How many of those are fans from other schools?
  4. I think you're wrong about this. I'm pretty sure he was getting booed.
  5. For some reason it was ok and applauded by many when Nickal did it.
  6. I mean, Dresser and Schwab both went to Iowa, too. (not to mention Gilman, Metcalf, Ramos, St. John).
  7. When Bo Nickal spanks an opponent, most of this board (outside of ASU fans), think it is funny. When Gabe Arnold does it, it is a "scuffle," "weird," and an indictment of the Iowa program.
  8. Typical Minnow style. He wants us to believe that he has a direct line to the feds.
  9. I don't disagree with this one bit, but the Flo haters certainly do. Minnow and his sycophants were all fired up about this earlier this year. (Wranglemania?)
  10. I'm not really sure, I kinda remember Rogan saying "one last topic to finish off: bowhunting." On the Jocko podcast, it was revealed that Nickal is in business with Jocko: supplements, maybe Nickal's recovery balm. He did mention Jocko when talking about Elk hunting with Rogan and company.
  11. I don't know the exact numbers, or how the scholarships worked. I was on the teaching/coaching side of things. Some of the scholarship kids were good athletes, others were average (or below),but great kids School only had 400 kids in the high school, they couldn't all be on scholarships. It also wasn't a "sports school" per se, although I did coach a kid (in lacrosse) that played in the NHL.
  12. I thought a French alternate, but I could be wrong. Woman who beat her did not make weight.
  13. Yes. Not only "French," but an Olympic alternate from France and a French citizen.
  14. My son is Sealand nobility. https://sealandgov.org/en-us/collections/titles
  15. That's right! But was 0-0 for a long time and still ranked.
  16. While I agree with your overall premise, I'm not sure the "private school" piece is as big as some make it out to be. I began my career at a high school that currently costs over $70,000 a year to attend (as a boarding student.) We had kids who had almost nothing, and were there on Boys and Girls Club scholarships, or had been caught in war in Rwanda. We had other kids who were the children of rockstars and royalty (literally.) You also have kids like Yianni and Spencer Lee. Both went to public school, but by all accounts, both are from families that are doing very very well for themselves. I'm sure there are plenty of others.
  17. All true. Worth noting that Hockey is the #1 culprit.
  18. Private schools tend to be more in line with the racial makeup of the USA than just about any public school.
  19. I agree. Should probably wrestle a match or two before being ranked. Same with my favorite NCAA wrestler. (Hendrickson) It is almost January. If you haven't wrestled a match yet, you shouldn't be ranked.
  20. Nickal has a business relationship with Jocko, so my guess is that he may have an "in" as far as the Elk trips.
