  1. I'm not a fan of Dake's personality, nor his style (when he chooses to be boring.) However, he didn't need a redshirt. Straight into the fire.
  2. Vito Arujau 24 Brock Hardy 23 year old redshirt sophomore. Aaron Brooks only 23 Carter Starocci will be 23 at NCAA. 24 if he comes back for his final year. Brody Teske 23 (HBD) Real Woods 24 Others?
  3. 23. He will be 24 or 25 (depending on birthdate) when he wrestles at NCAA next year.
  4. True. Also most matches where Andonian wrestles Ed Scott. They've had a couple like this one.
  5. I was thinking Oklahoma State has looked pretty solid recently, and Iowa looked good on Friday. And I don't think there would be nearly as many transfers without NIL.
  6. I thought it was a W? Because that guy ain't pinning Kueter in the first if he's losing to the backup.
  7. The Great White North would know this.
  8. Junior world champ is probably better than 189 state 2nd. And Polar Bear had so much hype! I was trying to temper the hype, but people laid it on. So, I will bask in this for an evening.
  9. Why use Kueter when "polar bear" gets frozen by Iowa's 3rd string. State runner-up at 189 as a senior.
  10. I'm not sure I believe it either, but it was definitely a bit weird that he only weighed 130 at last Friday's weigh in.
  11. Nash Cooter sounds like a character from a 70s/80s TV show. I'm not sure if its a sitcom or a detective show.
  12. Again, probably not in great wrestling shape, which could lead to him being held out. However, a 20-30 lb lighter Kueter went to U20 Worlds with limited wrestling training and was able to absolutely wither opponents in order to win matches. Was down 8-0 in semi and it looked like someone hit the "off switch" on his Ukrainian opponent. Not sure this is still the case: a couple years later, 20-30 extra lbs of tissue competing for oxygen, larger opponents, and probably completely off the mat since Spring.
  13. As a linebacker, Kueter also battles large linemen.
  14. True. But hopefully he is no longer 330, and that is part of the equation here.
  15. As a FRESHMAN. And a far better athlete.
  16. Wow, you are sensitive! I said you might have cried if someone said a guy who hadn't wrestled in years would pin Kerk as a true Freshman. Keuter is indisputably a better athlete than Kerkvliet. Indisputably. I did not say he is a better wrestler at this point, however he has better junior level credentials. I do not think he is a better wrestler than Kerkvliet at this point, but probably a better wrestler than Kerkvliet was at the same age. However, the more he plays football, the slower he will improve at wrestling. But he is a better athlete than Kerkvlet.
  17. Agreed. I have seen a top official basically saying that if you have done all or most of the the scoring, there should be less of a microscope of you.
