  1. And don't forget: Glory only wanted to wrestle Lee. He didn't travel to Iowa to wrestle Ybarra. He's a "visionquest type." - The Wrestling Room. We've got the scoop!!!
  2. Some further Minnow thoughts/observations: 1. He recently claimed that he intentionally puts out fake news regarding Iowa in order to get a rise out of Hawks fans. Great journalist! 2. Believes that his report that Kemmerer was "done for the year" actually was what sparked Kem's return. Sorry, not that important. 3. Thinks Brands was referring to him as a "paid hater." Sorry, you run a facebook group. Not that important. For the record, I don't think Brands was that paranoid when referring to "paid haters." He was probably referring to someone like Basch. Basch has the occasional Hawkeye on, but would certainly fall into most definitions of "Iowa hater" and is admittedly paid by the NLWC and also does work for several NLWC coaches and athletes. I enjoy his show, but think he is a "paid hater.'
  3. Minnow is always right! He may make conflicting statements, but one of the statements has a chance of being correct.
  4. Lewan scores exactly three points in about 60% of his matches. This leaves approximately 40% of matches where he would score more or less than three. I would argue that a .400 batting average is anything but poor!
  5. The whole obvious manipulation of the certification system is awful. I am sure everyone does it, but it appears that some programs and individuals are more egregious offenders. Let us not forget WHY we put this system in place, and how much danger the sport was in as a result. (And this comes from the perspective of a major weight cutter)
  6. And Mr. Pat Minnow has claimed that Glory will no longer be at 125 only to follow that up two days later to say that he will be at 125. So either way, he is right! He's got the scoop!
  7. Mineo now backtracking and saying that Glory is 125 for the weekend and possibly the postseason. This guy! My guess would be that if Princeton wins the toss, the starting weight will be 133.
  8. How is this possibly still going on? I checked in this morning and thought it had been resolved.
  9. Very interesting! I am not sure on this one. On another board, a poster claimed that Glory was a "Visionquest type of wrestler" and when he saw how bad Lee looked vs. Iowa State, he realized Lee would be no match for him and is now going on his mission at 133!
