  1. I was going based on the previous post that counter the win over Eierman as four wins over all-Americans.
  2. There is nothing in your statement that I can disagree with.
  3. Indeed it is, but there were some solid athletes. There are still some smaller people worldwide, just not many in the USA.
  4. I remember some great matches involving Alexis Vila and Vugar Orujov (Vito's dad). Also some good Koreans and Japanese.
  5. Should be posted daily, to remind fans of what a real coaching meltdown looks like.
  6. Our freestyle team seemed to be solid in par terre during Bruce Burnett's tenure as National Freestyle Coach. Of course, Dave Schultz was likely also a big part of this. Some standouts, just from '95-'96: Zeke: Developed a leg lace that enabled him to beat Jordanov in Bulgaria Cross: Nasty on top, particularly with high gut Saunders: if he was able to get a chance on top, he often made things happen Schultz: mean and nasty on top Baumgartner: solid all around in par terre
  7. In 1787, Ohio was considered part of the Northwestern US!
  8. Yes. Different rules for his Olympic semi. It was the another ruleset the match before and went back to that ruleset the next match.
  9. But 30 of Bono's losses were probably to MacIlravy!

  11. Maybe... but he was running the Badger RTC when the falling out happened and he resigned.
  12. That's ok. I pretend to be an Iowa fan while secretly being an NC State fan!
  13. It may have had something to do with getting rid of McDonogh, also. McDonogh was one Iowa guy Askren liked! I believe he feels Bono is duplicitous.
  14. Interesting. Here is a question: Is it really doing 8th grade twice if you are just wrestling, gaming and not attending school at all?
