  1. I agree... huge missed opportunity there. On another note: Indiana beat the shit out of Sparty the last six matches. They straight up out-toughed 'em. Michigan State was favored in three of those matches and one was a toss-up as well... poor closing.
  2. Sparty loses at 197 and 285, which are two wins they expected given that they were favored there and both gents have been wrestling well.
  3. Snyder is on the good side of 30, still. He will wait around until 2028 at least. Cox might hang them up at OTT. Ot maybe he goes up to 125 KG afterwards... not sure. As long as Bradley keeps winning the Open or Senior Nats he will keep wrestling. I think we may see Dake and Taylor hang them up but I kind of expect them to make a run at OTT because of it being in LA. JB likely has the 1 seed with Nolf having the 2 seed. That means Nolf will need yo beat O'Toole or someone equally as badass then beat Retherford to face JB. JB will be the onr against Dake in the Bo3.
  4. We are on the same page here. There clearly needs to be some sort of concussion protocol with USAW. Some people can take those hits and it doesn't phase them. Some can get nudged 10x lighter and they are gonzo. We need to ensure the safety of the latter.
  5. Sparty came to wrestle this weekend. A 29 - 10 beating on Illinois and shutting Indiana out through thr first four matches 18 - 0. Of note: No Lillard or Gilcher in for Indiana at 165lbs, either. They forfeited to Fish.
  6. The Penn State gent is solid and has even bumped up for the team. With how he has performed, Penn State may be able to give the Mirasola brothers a year to grow in tk the weight. Also of note: Zach Ryder was entered in to the same tournament at 174lbs.
  7. The one that was bolded won! Hahaha This was a bucket list item for me, gents.
  8. It happened today, gents. The match we all wanted and needed.
  9. No, I got all that. They let him go, though, and it didn't look that bad of a hit when I first watched it.
  10. The thread title says that he lost. I was simply stating the fact that he did, in fact, not lose.
  11. My thinking is does he go 70 KG then 74 KG in Olympic years? He is extremely lean at 36 hour before weigh-ins. He even dabbled up at 155lbs for a bit.
  12. He was right there with Yazdani (the 86 KG one) through their Age level careers, wasn't he? Why wouldn't he be able to maintain the same levels of success?
  13. Well it looks like Velti - Mollinari w we e supposed to wrestle but aren't, so there should have been another match.
  14. I didn't think the head bang was as hard as it might have been. To the point I thought it could have been something else.
  15. Nick Lee wins Match #1 12-3 to take his Freestyle record against Johnny D to 4W - 0L. After the Takedown to go up 4-3, Lee poured it on and it honestly looked like Johnny D was broken. He might have gotten injured there (somehow).
  16. I never said it wasn't a shit call.
  17. Hey guys, I just checked again and it still appears that Davis did in fact have his hand raised after a 4-3 Decision victory over Kilkeary.
  18. Oh lord. Thay hurts more than watching that tOSU rally on Michigan last weekend.
  19. Sammy Sasso said it when asked about that recruiting class a couple/few years back: tOSU and Ryan are trying to build a Dynasty to rival Penn State and everyone coming in (Mendez/Bouzakis class and Rogotzke/Kilkeary class) all believe in themselves, each other, and the coaching staff.
