  1. EW E (Ew) - Because it's WTT and respect should be put on that name. W (WAY Ew) - Because it's WTT and respect should be put on that name.
  2. These are just gathering through the Top 33 on Wrestlestat. There are others. Many others who have are coming off a True Frosh redshirt or changing schools and/or weights but weren't on redshirt just sat behind someone better.
  3. At HWT we have a few... Steveson at Minny. Fernandez at Cornell. Luffman at Illinois.
  4. Not sure if he will be back or even what weight, but Adam Kemp for Cal Poly at 174 or 184 coming off a Medical.
  5. Hepner of the Ohio State at 165lbs with Kharchla moving up.
  6. Krattiger of Minnesota was finally released from Wiscy, three years later, and should be in contention for their starting role at 174lbs unless Carlson takes it from him.
  7. It wasn't a Redshirt, but Vasquez of Arizona State at 141 will hopefully be able to finally make a postseason run this season. Teemer for ASU at 157lbs is back.
  8. Shawver of Rutgers posted somewhere that he was granted Medical for last season and will be returning up at 133lbs for them.
  9. Robbie Howard at 125lbs for Penn State.
  10. Ayala is coming off Redshirt for Iowa. I think he contends this season at 125lbs, providing he shows up to NCAAs healthy.
  11. To be fair, he pulled a Bartlett and onky went 149 for the team. He should do well at his natural weight of 141.
  12. Would be cool to see Janzer pop up at a SOCON or MAC school at 184 this year.
  13. This did puzzle me a bit. I thought it always the plan for him to go up, but he competed at 184 during his redshirt. Add in that Janzer did not transfer out and I was befuddled.
  14. YES! Why didn't he register for 92 KG though?
  15. Lucas Byrd in the portal and headed to Michigan? Also, how is he able to wrestle a High School tournament still?
  16. Let me guess: Young Mr. Black over Dalton Roberts at 60 KG?
  17. Is registration done? Nobody else can register?
  18. Maylor should go somewhere he can drop to 165. He doesn't have the strength needed to compete with the B1G 174lbers. He has the talent and speed, just lacks the strength and tenacty. I hope he ends up at one of the MAC schools. He would contend at 174 there.
  19. Won't catch many folks from Iowa nation wishing those gents the best. I tip my hat to you.
  20. YES! Curious where he will end up weight-wise. He is immediately their best option at 125 OR 133... hell even 141 right now. The product that Central has been putting out is well down the last few years from the 20 years prior.
  21. So Anthony, despite not getting in on admissions, still went on a recruiting trip there? Interesting.
  22. I think the timing, really. That is the only reason it might be cringe for me, were I an Iowa fan that just lost one of the more recent top recruits because of the rumors and whatnot of them going there. That said, Desanto came in as a total basket case and left in a better mental state than he was prior. Yes, he did... relapse... a time or ten, but he was overall a better version of himself. I personally don't think the two Focus brothers are worth the time and possible disruption. That is why at least one major school told Angelo that the deal was for him and him only. I don't see Anthony starting except for spot starts here and there. AJ would start out the gate if he were to go 197 and then next year HWT for two seasons. Angelo would likely start for them from day one (not this next season but the following) - at 184. If Iowa decides that is the route and the risk is worth the reward, then cool beans. I hope it works out for them. As I have said for Penn State many times: A better Iowa is better for USA Wrestling.
