  1. I got reamed by a few very weak individuals for using the word 'cunt' too often. I had to start using the term 'turdbiscuit' instead. It was disappointing.
  2. Unless you are Sidakov. You get to lose then wrestle for the spot still.
  3. They are actually being allowed at worlds still?
  4. Bouzakis and Mendez both only lose to the eventual champion taking Bronze (Bouzakis) and Silver (Mendez). I hope they both go next season. Let Mendez wrestle and utilize that redshirt if he ends up needing one due to injury down the line.
  5. They have a shit tonne of Olyshirts available, so it is hard to tell what they will do even if Stalrocci doesn't return. They could even do Barr at 174 with Facundo and Mesenbrink on Olyshirt, Haines at 165 and a Lee or Bearclaw at 157 and still win NCAAs running away.
  6. SDSU has Sloan at 197 so I assume 184.
  7. I mean the damage control he has done thus far has been excellent... he just needs to keep the ship steered correctly.
  8. Who will you predict after Haines goes up to 165 and him and Haines both lose to Facundo in the wrestleoff?
  9. It damn well should be! The health of these kids should be a focus and priority. To this day I don't know how Desanto didn't get some sort of 1 game/match suspension after attempting to maim Micic at NCAAs. Fernandez deliberately attempts to hurt his opponents. Is there not a rule prohibiting that? Listen. I wrestled collegiately in the 80s and then some in 90s after college as well. I know what it means and how you need to be tough. There is a distinct difference between that and what he does nearly every match.
  10. I also hope Mastro is able to fill out to 165 and beat out that turdbiscuit Fernandez. I am still not sure how he never got a suspension last year for being a deliberate turdbiscuit.
  11. Whatever you need to tell yourself to sleep at night, bud. OSU still has some work to get rid of the toxicity the Focus twins left on the program. They will be fine. Just not right now.
  12. If O'Toole and Carr split and Mesenbrink goes undefeated, do you have them getting the nod? Particularly if Mesenbrink goes SLAYER on everyone like he has been doing at Worlds?
  13. I don't, no. Not unless he separates himself from his peers in the room. I think what I was hoping for last year comes to fruition, just with more competition in the room. Striggow seems healthy and Bullock has changed his name to Swollock. I think Bullock ends up being the starter. IF Walters separates himself from the room, including Swollock, then I think he only gets the nod if it is the difference in points between a 4/5/6th finish for UofM and a 3rd. Keep in mind they only give trophies out for 1-3 now, right? With the state of 197 right now, I just don't see him getting the nod. As hard as I am on Carroll (I would argue I am a realist, not a dreamer there) I know I need to be here, because 197 is deeper that 285 and it isn't even close. I could see Carroll getting 7/8th. Walters? Using wrestlestat, I just don't see him beating anyone in the Top 12ish... and there are many below there I don't see him beating (right now) either.
  14. I also thought the same thing. In Kozak's defense, he did say 'like' which provides some leeway.
  15. We will have to agree to disagree. No sense in beating this dead horse on the 23 U20 Worlds thread.
  16. 125 1 - DeAuggie 133 1 - Cannon 141 1 - Ragusin 149 1 - Gilcher 157 1 - Lewan 165 1 - Griffith 174 1 - Amine 184 1 - Rogers 197 1 - Walters 285 1 - Davison
  17. Also... I am looking forward to Carroll against that Yao Ming mofo from China.
  18. That isn't a troll. This was already expected. I maintain that it cements, for me, the fact that he does need a redshirt. There are at least six guys who are going to be able to manhandle him in D1 right now. Three of them exhaust eligibility this year with a potential of the other three also not utilizing their COVID 'free' year. Add in that there are quite a few gents that are simply 'on par' with him right now and the upside is basically 7th if every single thing goes correctly for him this year where the downside could be two and done. That has him potentially beating guys like Slavikouski and Fernandez and Luffman, who I would absolutely favor them at this point. Now, I absolutely believe that Carroll will improve a significant amount over the course of the next calendar year. This shows he isn't quite ready for that 'man man' shit yet. Disclaimer: I am okay if he proves me wrong. 100% okay with that.
  19. I agree. Especially after last year. Looking forward to seeing him be the 133lb starter for tOSU for an entire season. If he can't fix that pacing he may go undefeated in duals to turn around and shit the bed come tourney time.
  20. Bouzakis is a physical dynamo and establishes himself as a physical superior at the beginning of nearly every match. Unfortunately at this level, even if he is the superior it isn't going be to by as much as some local high school tourney here in the states. He did this in each of his three matches today and came in less fresh than his next opponent each time because of this. He had 12 minutes of gruel under his belt before the match even started and 18 by the end of it, where Mohit had ~3 minutes prior? We see it all the time where we burn ourselves out burning out our opponents then gas the next round. It is oftentimes that our opponent is burned by the next round as well...
  21. cringe.gif Poor Carroll... But yeah! He is totally a lock for high AA next season, guys! Doesn't need any form of redshirt AT ALL.
  22. Also per Kozak... Yao Ming is wrestling for China. For those not in the know, Masoumi is a giant of a kid at 6'6" as of last year and 20 Y.O.
  23. So if Lilledahl wins gold he will have beaten a guy that beat Richards earlier this year, correct - per Kozak ( @Jon_Kozak ). Does that make him our #1 domestically?
  24. it was indeed Casey for Mesenbrink.
