    True but technically he’ll be 25 in April. Burroughs got his first world gold at 23. (of course to be compared to Burroughs he’s doing pretty well)

    Yes, there have definitely been multiple people saying “he was the best chance to medal,” but didn’t those usually occur AFTER he took those domestic losses? I’m not sure if that qualifies as “hype,” it may be accurate and is based on who he’s beaten internationally, not just him “coming onto the scene.”

    Well with the new top stalling rule requiring working for a fall we should see more top stalling calls. Yes it’s subjective but I don’t think you can really get rid of the subjectivity without making the product worse. I know in a later post someone said stall calls should be based on specific times in positions but that gets confusing when there’s so many of them. Not a fan of eliminating tech falls or zero points for a given escape though.

    Definitely more people that get ESPN than Flo or BTN. Maybe ESPN realizes that with so many people cutting the cord, old grumpy wrestling fans make up a bigger percentage of viewers than they used to.

    It doesn’t seem there was as much pushback on the “sausagefest” comment. Just be careful promoting heterosexism, there are some UNC professors that don’t appreciate that.

    Google maps right now says 2 hours 7 minutes from University of Illinois to Chicago (140 miles), and 1 hour 4 minutes from Lehigh to Philadelphia (59 miles). Pretty big difference

    Apparently not, although it seems Cassioppi was smart enough not to say anything himself. But now that guys have outed themselves, I would think the team/school should make a statement about them. I wonder if they even will once there’s a final ruling. Like even if it’s shortened will Brands even say why they’re not in the lineup?
