  1. You don't have to. Sincerely, Hunter Willits
  2. Agree - I wrestled one year and redshirted 4... I have 20 matches left.
  3. Should also add he said he is taking a a gap year. His goal is the 2024 Olympics.
  4. I still think Ramos heads up to 157 to at least give it a shot to replace Teemer. He looked good at the end of last season and wrestled 70kg over the summer.
  5. Thanks - appreciate it - just making sure the best option was on there....
  6. Who were his final 5? Live today at 4:30
  7. Yep - all youth levels are begging for more refs. It's a good way to give back and be involved if you have the availability. Unfortunately wrestling has shot itself in the foot at the lower levels. The treatment of officials can be ugly at best - not a surprise that nobody wants to to do it. Mom and Dad get pretty upset about a point scored in the 7th/8th place match at the Hollowville JV Third Chance invitational. There are HS tournaments scrambling as we speak to get refs secured for their first tournaments of the season.
  8. I may have missed something, but I didnt' see Lamer registered. I am assuming he is going 149.
  9. I'm sticking with my original pick... The Lumberjack Tanner Harvey.
  10. Tanner Harvey - Oregon State
  11. Yeah I was a little confused as well...My "guess" is that UW the school has admitted in writing that they did not inform athletes of changes and support him being eligible, however Bono and/or the athletic department are not releasing him. Based on his father's posts and further posts by Kyle that is the way I am interpreting it. Here is what his dad says that clouds it further haha.... "This is my son’s situation. The UofW is penalizing him for their mistakes,WOW! They have in WRITING taken responsibility for not informing their student/athletes of the new transfer rule also stated in WRITING they are 100% behind Kyle being eligible fall semester but still won’t"
  12. In normal cases I would agree, however the rules and dates have changed a few times and the institution has the responsibility to inform student athletes. The article you cited was "updated" September 2022 - From Burwick: "Additionally, in my NCAA waiver appeal case, UW has stated in writing that they support me being eligible and they had not informed the athletes."
  13. Why would you think coaches would be talking to him or that he would be visiting campuses?
  14. Wisconsin knew the May 1 deadline.... they were obviously in talks with Lamont... they told Burwick May 23... announced Lamont on May 24 knowing that Burwick could not go in the portal and transfer without their approval. Unfortunately this has happened with several wrestlers. Free Burwick.
  15. I was looking forward to seeing how Crosby would fare with Teemer.
  16. 41-3 - Schrimsher with the only win for OB at 197. https://lrtrojans.com/documents/2022/11/1/01_-_Little_Rock_41__Ouachita_Baptist_3__Nov._1__2022_.pdf
  17. I'm thinking that Ramos might go up to give it a shot. Wrestled at 70kg this summer.
  18. Lehigh vs Oregon State dual this weekend. Should see some close matches as many of the matches feature closely ranked wrestlers. The match I am looking forward to seeing is Beard vs Harvey. Harvey is coming off of a knee injury but he looked very solid in his major decision over Reyes. It will be a good gauge for where he is in his return to the mat.
  19. Wow..... who is next in line to man the 157 spot?
  20. I wouldn't disagree with you on any points on either one. Both are deserving to win.
