  1. I'm an Oklahoman and I grew up the same grade as Lockett's father, so I'm a big fan, but that went about how it was always going to go. he looked tough enough just not there yet. I think MM understood the situation
  2. If Mesenbrink wins though, I'll start being ridiculous and hope he beats Nolf and Dake.... I just love his constantly attacking style. but in this matchup, I think JB just keeps taking him down
  3. I think JB is too aware of what MM brings to the table HOWEVER...... it is fairly easy to envision a world where the pace wins because it does so often. Just gotta remember, JB has been near the top of the world every year, I just dont think MM is there yet.....
  4. Theres too many coinflip matches I guess, like what is an upset. Ringer over Brooks? Not an upset. Alirez over Lee.... Not an upset. Maybe Richards over Lee, that would qualify Anyone think Mesenbrink can take JB? It would shock me. Nolf to the old JQ, shocking. None of the other matches really feel like "Upsets" you know?
  5. I was going to go to the gym and miss the semis but my car wont start and the wife is gone.... its gotta be a sign. Anyone predicting any upsets. Or is it chalk city up in this piece.
  6. For what it's worth BTW, I don't think anyone should be allowed to start in the best of 3. I think semis for all returning medalist seems OK by me, but to start in the best of 3, for the Olympics. Me no likey. I think the semis thing is big for Zain Train, but less for ZV.
  7. Sorry I've been off most of the day, what weights are we the most upset about?
  8. If she was old enough to compete Epenesa Elison would be in the mix. She's our next Amit *Not as dominant but a young medalist*
  9. Alirez still wins the spot and places at last chance. The new king of 65kg (but also maybe not)
  10. So do we believe Jonathon loses to Mendez after JM looked solid against Green and Johnny looked a lil sus. Or will this be a prime John vs a College kid. Im going to say........ Mendez somehow gets it done and blows my mind
  11. I agree at 65kg but here.... I like Fartsmeller over Zahid by 4
  12. They all looked great. The future is bright
  13. Lol he's sitting across from me and denies this happened, but I think he's fibbin
  14. Just logged in to look at scores and wow what a start
  15. I'm also at work, and forgot my phone, this is the worst situation I've ever encountered. Go Wrestlers!
  16. Note: I say "May see Ochir" because I think they'd have a secondary wrestle-off or just send him after Tseveensuren failed to get it done, but maybe not, maybe Tseveensuren is the rep and thats that. Either way, tough opponent for USA wrestling + India + the Euro stragglers.... + Kudiev, it's going to be a tough path.
  17. For anyone that cares the semis are as follows (for the 2 weights we care about) 57kg: Uulu vs Batkhuyag Abdullaev vs Aman (Uulu snuck by Zou 3-2) 65kg: Kiyooka vs Yuan Akmataliev vs Kim (Kiyooka got by Kudiev 10-7) (Looks like Sujeet Sujeet didnt wrestle) (Mongolia lost to Akmataliev so we may see Ochir at last chance)
  18. Wrestling all Freestyle tomorrow morning so we'll know who all is heading our way for last chance. If Tseveensuren doesn't qualify for Mongolia I wonder if they will send Ochir to Last Chance. (Scary opponent either way)
  19. Both brackets will send some talent to the last chance qualifier

  22. Chamizo shared the ending of his match, it was close, they conferenced gave him 2, got challenged looked like 2, everyone thought 2...... then they reversed it. Wild ending https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5eD3-CsGC6/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==
