I dont know if ive seen someone with as many varied attacks on their feet at such a young age. The only thing that could limit him is injuries, I believe hes had two semiserious surgeries already, but I think he's the best recruit for his class in terms of separation from guys around his size. 125-141 just has a ton of kids that are going to be great whereas 157-165 for his class the only guy that really rivals him in any capacity is Sealey.

I cannot imagine Coleman left a head coaching position at UNC without it being essentially a done deal that he got the job after John retired. The kids seemed super receptive to Coleman coming in as well when flow was interviewing them.

his win in 18 was his best performance imo but thats rather obvious he did not give up a point. Id say 2019 and 2021 were dominant as well only giving up 6 points in 19 and 4 in 21. His margin of victory dwindled quite a bit in 22 and then even more so in 23 as well as taking a loss. Im not gonna use a sidakov loss as a sign that someone is declining but perhaps the discrepancy in margin of victory could suggest that. So one could argue if you think 21 was close to KD's peak could he have fallen off enough and could JB still be at the same level with some new found motivation to potentially snag the series? More than likely I'm trying to convince myself of something that just won't happen, I honestly don't even know that JB's my pick to win the challenge tournament hes gotta beat a lot of bad bad dudes.

both the NC state guys I expect to do serious damage next year, for all the talk about Gabe Arnold Matty singleton beat him in straight matches at junior trials. I know thats freestyle but given nc states history of developing guys and 174 clearing out I think he is definitely an AA threat and could potentially land highly on the podium. Trumble is always super dangerous and while it seems he may just be better at freestyle I expect him to push to AA at heavy or 197 whichever he chooses to go.

I could see dean bumping potentially and maybe shawyver at 141 although starting as a 125 and ending up at 141 seems unlikely. Shawyver could also opt to not use his 6th year worst case mason sits for a year or tries his luck at 141? I think his path to making the lineup there is very good where as I don't know that he ever cracks the PSU lineup but if he wants to bet on himself he will obviously have the greatest opportunity to improve at PSU and I think his still has a very high ceiling.

No I don't believe so I think it would be a really good decision for him if he wishes to start for 4 years and would be a great snag for Rutgers.

His results the last 18months or so have really fallen off compared to the start of his high school career and he seems to have the injury bug. Absolute freak athlete and he will wrestle for Rutgers which I think is what he really needs is to wrestle matches and figure out how to open up against good guys. I don't think he can crack the PSU lineup at 125/133 when you have guys like Cael nasdeo/dalton Perry/Nate Desmond who may not be able to do so.

It would explain why he's leaving FRL and he joked about wanting to coach and build a team to rival Cael. I thought the idea that he could not balance being a club coach and doing an 8:00 am podcast did not really make sense but that's very different if he becomes a college coach.

I think even high schoolers have NIL deals so I could see kids potentially forgoing college in the future if it gets relegated heavily and going straight into training at RTC's or going the mma route which would be terrible. Fortunately, I don't think there is enough money in the sport for that to seem like a lucrative path but who knows.

Nico vs blaze is a really fun match I think. I know Nico kinda smoked Lilledahl but I think blaze is a bit more physically mature and better in ties positionally right now( not saying hes better than Luke) so I think he will be a tougher matchup for Nico specifically.

I'm hoping duke decides to wrestle at u20's NHSCA's was not the toughest at his weight but it looked like he was drilling against the kids he was wrestling and the variety of attacks he has is absolutely insane. I think he could throw his name in with these seemingly generational type kids.

I think that Kolat wrestled an Azerbaijani in one of his infamous screw jobs where he had to re-wrestle the match, or they retroactively gave him a loss after the match.

I agree completely he's talked about a bit less than some of the other stars around his weight, but he has multiple wins over Knox, Forrest and a win over blaze after blaze beat Ramos.

Cunningham's jump in level this past year was quite remarkable. I have very high expectations for him in college. He mentioned in an interview he plans to go 172 or 189 during his high school season so I'm guessing 184 is in his future. If his ability on top translates to the next level he's going to score a lot of points.
