He also won the Hodge at least once!
He was an OSU guy that didn't want to cut as much as John wanted. He was told he wouldn't be able to win anywhere else. He transferred to UNC and won it 3 times. He was a total stud!
I moved all meetings and trainings to Tuesday (I will have an NCAA hangover on Monday). A coworker asked if I was going to be watching the NCAAs?! The only appropriate workplace response was "YEAH! Nobody likes a quitter!"
I got to the office early today, worked through lunch, and might stay late working on reports that are not due until next week. All of that just so I can be a worthless pos tomorrow!
You would figure that the NCAA would look at it from a money grab position, and add back the NAIA, D3, & D2 top placing kids.
I am surprised we don't have a 64 man bracket!
There were too many complaining that "they already went to Nationals, they shouldn't be able to take away from the D1 kids!"
That my friends, was the birthplace of the snowflake.
As an Official I would get be accused of being terrible and would still get invited back to those same schools. Eventually I stopped accepting their events and chose events at other schools. Sure the wrestling might not have been as good, but it all paid the same.
I am not even sure why someone would suggest that wrestling coaches be removed from the corner when basketball and football coaches get to chirp on the sidelines! Hell football even has a "Get Back" Coach!
We already have kids wearing leggings under their shorts. Not really sure what that's all about. I have also seen youth kids wearing them at wrestling tournaments. As we all know, they are not secured under the foot by a stirrup like the rule book requires.
