    Like poorwrestler said, he is a pinacle guy and is at Minny a lot. I agree with your question about who will he roll with at Wisconsin that is going to be better than the Minny situation. Again, I would love to have him, I'm just thinking if I am him, why would I go anywhere other than with the Gophers?

    I'm torn between wanting to throw the book at the kid and giving him a chance for redemption. If my own son got assaulted like that, I would be livid. If my own son threw that punch, I would be livid, but would want a chance for him to own the consequences and work through an improvement process that would lead to changed behavior, ultimately leading to an earned second chance.

    It is looking like placating Ben might actually be the move to make, as much as it seems weird, borderline unethical, (however it might be interpreted). He has so much influence over elite talent, he is literally placing future AAs and NCs at colleges. If he starts "choosing" UW, it could elevate them to perennial top 5.

    If these rules go through, then they should just eliminate riding time as well. It will make it much easier to follow and understand during matches. Sure, the few die-hards will get it, but image a causal fan or even the typical table worker at a dual will see it as complicated. Not sure the reward of one point at the end of a match will be worth the "effort" to keep track of the situation.

    Correct, Henning was the last Wisconsin native in the finals for UW. Andy Rein was the last champ in 1980.

    Antonio Garay did both at Boston College. Placed 4th at NCAAs in 2000 and was drafted in 6th round of 2003 NFL draft. Played parts of 9 or 10 seasons in the NFL. Bob Golic did both at Notre Dame. Placed 3rd and 4th at NCAAs in mid70s, then drafted in the 2nd round of the 1979 NFL draft. Played 14 seasons in the NFL.

    Though not during the 1983 college season, it's worth noting that lineup produced two Olympic Golds and one Olympic Silver the following year.
