    He's listed as a junior, did he last wrestle in spring 2021 in high school? This will be a fun one to follow, really hard to just step into B1G competition after maybe three years off. But, this guy was the number one at his weight in HS and 285 is a little different from the other weights.

    He didn't play in the bowl game, and I don't think he played in any other games either. So, he isn't as banged up as you would think. Obviously he practiced all season, that will have some wear and tear.

    What makes this behavior hard to control in a legal sense is the US Constitution, specifically the 1st Amendment, which guarantees the right to free press. That’s why it is important to make the behavior known within the wrestling community, just like what Schwab’s wife and Willie have done.

    I have no idea how their wrestling venue is set up, but some places look empty on TV when in fact the attendance is much higher. It’s usually when there is one main seating side of the venue, and the cameras are shooting from that same side, showing the small set of stands on the far side of the mat.

    As inconsistent as he has been, Gomez can still get beat anyone in the weight class. He is a wrestler no one wants to see on their side of the bracket.

    So there would still be individual rankings, but the seeding is based only on the result of the team? So a #1 ranked guy could beat a #2 ranked guy, get hurt, and then his backup gets seeded as though he himself beat the #2 guy?

    I am saying that those two hand picked pictures are not an indication of PED use, because I know the circumstances of each photo and the time period between them.

    Just in case you guys are being serious: 190 lbs at 6’0” is not indicative of PED use. The average shortstop in MLB in 2023 was 6’0.5” 190.2 lbs Also, using a photo of a teenage Taylor starving himself to weigh 157 lbs is just plain foolish.

    My son just signed an NLI to play D1 baseball. Yes, there specific courses that a high school student athlete has to complete successfully in order to be eligible for D1. In fact, my son had to switch out of a creative writing class this last fall because it wasn't approved as an English core course by the NCAA.
