  1. It doesn't really matter assuming they wrestle each other this weekend but how does Intermat explain this given that All-Star match results aren't supposed to influence rankings?
  2. Desanto, Bresser, Rivera, NATO and Piccinni didn't employ that strategy and all beat Lee
  3. Lee could pin both Howard and Steen at the same time.
  4. Yup, exactly. No one is even close to him in dominance right now. He is pinning EVERYONE.
  5. Locks: Iowa @ 125 - 6 for Lee PSU @ 133 - 3 for RBY Iowa @ 149 - 3 for Murin PSU @ 174 - 3 for CStar PSU @ 184 - 3 for Brooks So 9-9 based on locks, assuming no further bonus. Toss-up: 141: but Woods favored 157: only if Haines wrestles, otherwise Iowa strong favorite 165: but Kennedy favored 197: Dean slight favorite HWT: Cass favored based on recent results
  6. Two very similar wrestlers, who may meet up this weekend, if Cael takes the shirt off Haines. Both have beaten Model. Both have taken losses. Who comes out on top?
  7. I lean Siebrecht because of his unorthodox style and funk. He may catch Haines feet to back.
  8. If Levi goes vs Iowa that means his redshirt is off for the year. I'm thinking they should keep it on and send out Bearclaw for the rest of the year and NCAAs. Reasoning: 1. The big picture is winning NCAAs. Bearclaw can qualify for NCAAs and probably win a match. 2. PSU, even without Haines, likely will have 5 guys enter NCAAs as top 3 seeds (RBY, Star, Brooks, Dean and Kerk) 3. Bearclaw probably wins 1-2 matches at NCAAs. Haines probably gives you another 1-2 wins if he goes. 4. Iowa probably wins the dual next week even if Haines goes since I think Siebrecht is better. And I think Bearclaw is good enough not to get bonused. 5. Haines is needed more next year as 157 clears out. What say you, Cael?
  9. It's likely Haines stays in redshirt and doesn't even wrestle vs Iowa. It will be Bearclaw.
  10. To get out in front of it, yes, I stand by my predictions even after Iowa's narrow win today over Wisconsin.
  11. Smart match by Dean. Wins 4-0. Caffey a bit chippy at the end.
  12. Fish was very strong, especially on top. Good win by Fac
  13. Bearclaw is a top 20 guy. I think Haines is a top 10 guy as of today. Maybe top 5 by end of season.
