  1. Adalius Thomas, Levon Kirkland come to mind as 270 pound LBs
  2. did Duke take any notable losses these last few months?
  3. Keuter says he's focused on wrestling and just won U23 -- he presumably will be the starter. At the same time, Cassioppi is rumored to be reinstated and will return to Iowa for his final season. Then we have Hill who performed admirably last season. And then lastly we have the wildcard AJ Ferrarri who could throw his hat in at heavyweight... Most likely we will see Keuter and Cass battle it out for the starting spot.
  4. After Kerk and Pindrickson I'm not sure how the rest of the rankings should shake out. With Keuter winning U23s does that slot him in at #3? 1. Kerk 2. Pindrickson 3. Keuter?
  5. Too much weight to be a LB? I thought he was like 220 pounds soaking wet. NFL LBs are regularly 250-260 pounds. Some as high as 275. Keuter is closer in size to a NFL safety than a LB right now.
  6. Great for wrestling. But it also shows he’s not really a legit NFL talent. He hardly played last year too.
  7. Where are you getting your information on all of these "botched cuts"?
  8. Kasak missed weight his weekend at 70kg. This means he couldn't get under 154 pounds.
  9. 125: Will it be Lilledahl or Braeden Davis? Is Robbie Howard totally done? 133: Nagao just suffered what appeared to be a serious shoulder injury. There is buzz about Davis moving up to 133. 141: BB 149: SVN; apparently Kasak is too big now for 149 157: Lots of questions here. Kasak, Sealey or PJ Duke? Apparently Haines is getting too big? 165: Mesenbrink (Haines RS?) 174: Facundo or Ryder? 184: Barr 197: Starocci / Cochran / Mirasola Hwt: Kerkvliet My preferred lineup 125: Lilledahl 133: Davis 141: BB 149: SVN 157: Mesenbrink 165: Haines 174: Ryder 184: Barr 197: Starocci HWT: Kerkvliet
  10. Apparently Gable has never played organized football in his life.
  11. He's not going to make the 53. Has he even played football since middle school?
  12. I doubt it has much effect. Under Franklin Penn State football is stuck in the second tier of the Big 10 and seems like it won't ever move to challenge Ohio State or Michigan.
  13. A jury Wednesday found in favor of a former Penn State athletics team doctor who claimed that he was removed as team physician in retaliation for complaining about head football coach James Franklin interfering with medical treatment and return-to-play decisions. A Dauphin County jury in Harrisburg awarded orthopedic surgeon Dr. Scott Lynch $5.25 million in punitive and compensatory damages. Testimony during the seven-day trial included former Penn State players, doctors, athletic trainers, university system officials and others discussing examples of injuries and medical decisions. Lynch said in a phone call with ESPN that he hopes the verdict will prompt an investigation by the NCAA, which has had a policy guaranteeing independence of sports medicine staff since 2016. "There's not yet been one school punished for violating medical autonomy issues," he said. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/40242103/penn-state-scott-lynch-doctor-james-franklin-verdict
  14. He’s already confirmed he’s going 197
  15. One obvious example is Tony Cassioppi who dominated national champ Greg Kerkvliet as Fat Tony but then couldn’t touch him as Tony Six Pack. Other examples?
  16. It seems pretty unlikely that he’s going to be happy he didn’t get the HC job at Ok State.
