Non-Binary Student Beaten In a Bathroom

Martina is entitled to have an opinion. On an issue that is fairly new. That we are all learning more about. I imagine this opinion will change over time as it becomes more normalized. I understand that might be your point. That you'd rather it not become normalized. But I don't think you're concerns will really be at issue when things find their groove. But we'll see. -

Not what 'own goal' means. Where does it say someone was denied a spot on the team? And don't say, 'its common sense' because at no point does it mention someone who wanted to play but couldn't. The other team chose not to. And for no other reason then they lost a game that doesn't count for anything. -
Might be a bit much for such young guys to take on. But I don't hate that list. Matt Lackey was there for a spell, right? He's down at Lock Haven. Could be a candidate. Russ Hughes out of Bloomsburg. Scott Green from Army. Wynn Michalak of Campbell. Could be in the running for CMU as well. Bolyard from UM(CMU also)

Kari Lake admits defeat in lawsuit
ThreePointTakedown replied to Tripnsweep's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
No, they don't. Its easy and maybe somewhat comforting to think that, but no they don't. Do some? Yes. Do all? No. The ones that do, most do not do it to a degree that gets you sued. Of the ones that do, do they tend to lean one way or the other? Recently, .... YES! Fox'News' OAN Alex Jones My Pillow Guy Kari Lake 45 Rudy 'Four Seasons(not that one)' G. Not to mention attorneys that helped getting disbarred as we type. -

A preseason tournament, in Australia, is a point for what? Did you read the article? Some of the quotes seem to work against, what I assume is your point of disagreeing with the organization letting trans athletes play. They've been playing for 20 years. The tournament was for 'fun'. No indication that anyone was hurt. Just feelings of being beat by better teams and I know how sympathetic you are to hurt feelings. But that's what the preseason is for. Figure out where you need to focus. Pardon the pun but this seems less a point for you and more like an 'own goal'. -

Sorry may have scrolled past this before and lost track of it. Chemical castration, no. It doesn't seem as if you understand the procedures that go into the treatment trans people go through. But if that is your concern, do you feel the same way for chemotherapy for kids with cancer? As far as sterility issues later in life chemotherapy does have the chance for that side effect. 'Normal' human beings? Not sure what you mean by this. I understand it might be difficult for you to grasp, but no one is 'normal' medically. We all have small variations in how a drug or treat could interact or effect us. That's why studies rely on statistics from as large a sample as is reasonably necessary. Also that treatments are not followed to the letter in every case because of observations from doctors and patients might require alterations. 'Best' treated? By what metric are you coming to that conclusion? 13 year old making a decision. I'm not advocating for a 13 year old to make any decision that may result in permanent changes. At least not without jumping through several hoops with parents and doctors. The article mentions that regret from transitioning has been falling because the process has become better and more comprehensive. As are most new medical procedures/treatments or anything new, really. And everyone has negative repercussions in their lives, trans people more than most, but these treatments will allow them to be happier in their lives while dealing with the 'repercussions'. More info will help to refine the process. It might be icky to you but some people find it necessary for these treatments and they are only getting better. Counseling: considering the things some kids go through trying to get help through this situation, I don't see counseling or the need for it later, as a bad thing. Counseling by itself, is not a bad thing. As we go through our lives its good to check in to see if we are ok in our own head as our lives wax and wane. Helping to deal with past and present trauma is not negative. Why do you say 'barbaric' with regards to methods of treatment for people? https://apnews.com/article/transgender-treatment-regret-detransition-371e927ec6e7a24cd9c77b5371c6ba2b Might help. -
Univ. at Buffalo parts ways with Stutzman

Not entirely sure I agree with you there. Nice guy but not sure the 'style' would translate to anywhere with any sort of expectation for success. AU had little to no expectation with regards to success. GPA was a higher priority than dubs. That some talent was brought in and some success was had offered a springboard to the big pond in OK. For which the approach smoldered to nothing. Let Mark stay at PU to keep that program afloat for now. -

So some of the info was inaccurate(tax rates) but you'll still believe that the other numbers were accurate(revenue). How does that mathing math in your mind? -

https://www.visualcapitalist.com/the-highest-paid-ceos/#:~:text=Rising Median CEO Income Hits,S%26P 500 companies has doubled.&text=In 2021%2C this number hit, slightly fell to %2414.5 million. What non-nefarious reason could a person use a tax shelter? Not all rich people run businesses. What would happen to workers of companies, if rich CEO's or executives, had their salaries cut over time to a more reasonable or less outrageous(in some peoples' minds) amount? Some of the rich do hoard their wealth. Living off loans from banks rather than taking taxable salary. Using stocks as collateral to live the life of a rich person while paying little to no taxes. Bezos does this exact scheme and it is a scheme. I'll be they aren't the only one. Does every rich person(top 1%) hoard their wealth? Probably not. Bezos's ex is trying desperately to give it all away but it so much the interest keeps refilling the coffers. You say the person 'hates' rich people. Seems like you're telling someone what they believe again. With out any evidence to base that on. You defend rich people and businesses quite frequently with little more than the anecdote of ' rich businesses pay workers' as if it is a point. Why? What do you know that we should? How do you square the 'accountability' question with CEO's getting such increases in compensation when workers don't share the same growth?

Would love to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. Please report back?

Not sure your math is mathing right. Prejudice doesn't depend on demographics.

Return to 1944-63 income tax rates. Close tax loopholes. Fully fund the IRS Break up monopolies. Get money out of politics. Glass-Steagall. Make Banking Boring Again! Increase estate tax. Some of the richest people in the world pay little to no taxes on their wealth. That should change. A lot of these ideas comes from the fact that we cannot trust that they are holding themselves accountable. So someone has to. Systematically decrease defense spending. Increase education spending. Pre-K. Free school breakfast/lunch programs.

Did the medical redshirt time line change? Thought it was granted after eligibility was used up.

Race doesn't exist either. We're all humans. We tend to find an easily identifiable characteristic of another, to dislike. Makes it easy to put them in a box because we're lazy thinkers, on average. 'Racist' is not an accurate representation of the concept its trying to describe. 'Prejudice' or 'Bigoted' are, I think, more accurate.

Careful, those that insist on holding both sides equally accountable are going to flood this thread. (holding my breath)
