    Sure, that's fair, but his second best placement was definitely his senior year at Iowa.

    There is no evidence for this. Woods has more bonus in his first year at Iowa against a Big 10 schedule and was undefeated until the NCAA finals.

    This is just not true. He literally had his highest placement ever there, and wrestled the best he ever has. Caliendo yet another example of excelling after transferring. Franek placed worse than the year before, but he also has a style that lends itself to that. Those are just the last two years transfers. Iowa has it's problems, but transfers having success is not one of them.

    Two things can be true: HWC is a bit of a jobs program, but that's not why Gilman left.

    There isn't anybody feasible at this point as big as Taylor. Burroughs seems extremely unlikely to coach, and Spencer has always talked about wanting to go in administration (like, to be an AD), not coaching. I think the next biggest name would be Ben Askren who is feasible, but it seems like he's only looking at Wisconsin if he does it.

    As previously mentioned, Starocci's own coach did way worse, so that's funny.

    Who knows? Most of what Carter does is schtick. These are the first truky public signs of any dissension amongst the Penn State guys, but, again, it's Carter, so it's possible it's all schtick.

    My understanding is it was closer to 125 million cents.

    It's on the list, I promise, but the sports traveling is a more recent phenomenon for me, and this would likely be a solo trip for a 2 hour event, and Iowa hasn't had a real shot at being competitive since I started the sports trips.

    I hate everything. Actually, I'm in a great mood, just got done watching the Knicks win in the Garden, absolutely incredible live experience. But I hate this. Yes this is a humblebrag to distract myself from this terrible news.

    Nobody told Nickal that Taylor was going to be out, so he went 92 kg instead. The idea being that Nickal would have likely won a medal at 86 kg and got to sit out.

    Given what is alleged to have happened with Nickal after Taylor's injury, it would be a bit rich for Taylor to be pissed about it.
