  1. This is such a great video by flo: https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/12450735-are-the-2024-olympic-team-trials-jordan-burroughs-last Every time I click on a flo "video" and it ends up just being Christian Pyles talking, I immediately cringe and click out. Show me wrestling. Show me relevant context, not some dude talking at me. Anyhow, great video from Spey and so excited for this bracket!
  2. Really hope we get to see O'Toole vs Mesenbrink in the finals
  3. Man I saw Mesenbrink gulping like a fish at the end of the first period and def thought he was in trouble.
  4. Vito vs Crookham match: https://www.flowrestling.org/events/11351757-2024-eiwa-championship/videos?playing=12279131&limit=60
  5. Full US results: https://www.themat.com/news/2024/march/09/burroughs-wins-gold-aiello-takes-silver-at-yasar-dogu-international-in-turkey Great to see Burroughs on top. Yasar Dogu is always one of the toughest tournaments, but I have to assume it's a lot weaker this year given the lack of olympic reps?
  6. Sigh. At least the ads load properly in incognito mode
  7. Doesn't look like he competed, according to https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/11957042-2024-yarygin-wrestling-tournament-brackets-results
  8. Yeah, this was embarrassing. Here's what Brown's coach had to say after the dual: "Yesterday in Ithaca we went up against a Cornell team who was fully stocked for the first time this season and who just beat #2 Missouri this afternoon. Our dual ended 47 to -1. We were outclassed in several spots, unlucky in some spots, and on the wrong side of poor refereeing in others. For the most part I am proud the way our guys competed. Most of them refused to take a back seat, which provided some intense and entertaining matches. The environment was exciting. The crowd was involved, the refs were rattled, and Dudley ended up out in the middle of the mat yelling at the referee before he even realized he left his seat in the corner."
  9. Anyone know where live / up-to-date brackets are? Couldn't find them on flo arena
  10. Yeah; I worded that poorly. Def not trying to show any disrespect. Just trying to look at things objectively when zooming out and thinking about the team race.
  11. What an amazing showing all around by team USA!!!
  12. At least Lee got us 8 team points at 65kg btw. Both Zane at 57kg and Chance at 79kg got 0.
  13. Team-score-wise, this has to be our most dominant MFS win in recent memory at a full worlds, right?
  14. MFS team race medal totals: USA: 3 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze Iran: 1 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze Russia: 2 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze
  15. Updated team score predictions: Really great to see that USA will win the team title both officially and unofficially.
