    ISUs reattacks looked amazing he whole dual. As important as takedowns are if you took those out who knows how the whole dual goes...not that i'm taking something away from ISU just saying great job with the reattacks.

    I'd forgotten that cringe, "go hawks" grunted into an empty tomb. The difference is Gilman was a less consistent performer, so he'd get roasted on occasion. I don't think you can back up lame trash talk, but until starocci get humbled on a mat people are gonna have to take it.

    gilman grew up. he said in one interview on senior level teams he used to be all stand offish with the PSU guys....then he realized that was stupid.

    Rememer when Gilman used to be Capt Iowa and gave a lot of long winded interviews where he was succeeded in being rude and boring at the same time? Starocci is the same way. No one ever seems to mention it, probably because he is so good he can get away with it to be honest.

    Hamiti can't get enough going with forward pressure and handfighting. It forces him to dive and exposes him against fast guys, and it gets him pushed around by strong guys. When he was a true freshmen he had an excuse but this may be holding him back.

    Another reason its dumb is that most of em get redshirted in middleschool anyways. If I had to argue for it I'd say that its no less preposterous than the fact that academics and athletics are tethered together in the first place.
