  1. Pretty impressive he's improved his striking that much. Not sure I buy that he never trained it in the past considering his mom was involved in amateur boxing and trained at Jackson MMA, though. Still impressive. Hopefully we get to see him against some top tier competition - I'd love to see him go with Khamzat Chimaev.
  2. You're the moron harping on what Joe's political views are. Maybe comment on Bo and the podcast?
  3. I've listened to JRE regularly. I know it's a great podcast. It's polarizing if you ask anyone who doesn't listen to it, but to state that he doesn't belabor the same broken record shit is just not true. It's why the media always talks shit about his podcast. I know Joe Biden is a bumbling idiot, but Rogan has the same talking points every time it's brought up and its stale. Not to mention his "news worthy mishap" was actually corrected by Jamie because Joe just recites bullshit media articles and clickbait when discussing said topics. COVID started in 2020 and he's talked about it in every single one of his podcasts since then. Broken record.
  4. Everyone knows JRE is a polarizing podcast because of the reasons I stated. It's still worth the listen because 70% of it is relevant to this forum (wrestling, MMA, training, Penn State, etc).
  5. I didn't say I'm for or against what Rogan's views are. I'm saying its annoying to hear the same thing every single podcast when he could be discussing idk... interesting topics about the guest. But go on.
  6. I think ranting about the current president's competency and the government's reaction to the pandemic can certainly be considered political, but either way, it's repetitive and stale af for a podcast.
  7. Every podcast, no matter what they're discussing, somehow turns into Rogan discussing Joey B and how he's dying / can't speak, and a 30 minute rant about COVID lockdowns and vaccines. Every. Damn. Podcast. It's just a broken record and stale at this point, regardless of what your views are. On a fun note, Bo does touch on doping in the sport and how he thinks Mohammadian was juiced to the gills the day he rag-dolled him and Snyder. That's the kinda shit I wanna listen to!
  8. Seems like the mainstream media is really picking up on Bo. First he's on Jocko's podcast, now Joe Rogan's. Could be a fun listen for anyone as they touch on wrestling, how important it is for MMA, and Bo's approach to fighting considering his skills. I enjoyed the podcast. As usual, Joe does his bet to insert his repetitive political / covid views he forces into every podcast, but aside from that, good stuff.
  9. Why was it worth mentioning?
  10. Turns out Knox was 1 pt shy of making the finals, so the kid had a great tourney. Bouzakis wasn't the only one upset by him.
  11. Just caught up on all the consolations... Nice work by Bouzakis coming back. Feldman looked to tweak his leg while almost getting TFed in the consi semis. Let's hope the injury isn't anything serious.
  12. He's the definition of doing too much, haha.
  13. Don't forget his insistence on calling a pin a "pinfall" every single time.
  14. Great points, dude is gonna have a solid freaking education.
  15. Shoot, missed the match. Can't find how to do the quad-screen for this tourney in FloArena this time.
  16. DTs and Stieber's podcasts were great, especially if you grew up following Ohio wrestling at that time. The Palmers, Stiebers, Jordans, Jamie Clark, Sammie White, etc. were all incredible athletes. Interesting to see how both Logan and DT didn't think the grueling training mentality they went through is truly the right way to approach it, if anything due to the fact that they were the only 2 to get through it without serious career ending injuries. A lot of the other guys had similar resumes up through high school, but fell out due to either serious injuries (i.e. Collin Palmer) or burn-out. Fun time for Ohio wrestling, though. Also enjoyed DTs take on how Ohio wrestlers typically are worse on top / bottom going into college because the refs are so quick to call stalling there. Really does do those guys a disservice on the next level. Also, the fact that DT lost in OT to Jordan Oliver in middle school, then spent the rest of his years trying to follow him to tournaments to avenge that loss, was a funny take. Never did get to avenge it, but that would've been an awesome match to see back in the day.
  17. Nick Bouzakis looking much more like what I expected in that second bout. Hopefully that first loss to Knox wasn't characteristic of his future bouts.
  18. Terrible camera work by flo. Pretty much missed the takedown and the pin.
  19. I wonder how Paddy vs Andonian went down in the Eds wrestling room. Based on rankings at the time, you'd think Paddy used to put it on him. Also, did Kharchla tech Mekhi in folk?
  20. It's hard to believe that with all the PEDs going on throughout the world, that our guys can come out on top despite it.
  21. I'm not familiar with the Nike Oregon Project... Were they requiring their athletes to dope? Do you know what they were taking?
  22. Sounded like he was unsupervised as well. Pretty lame when parents hold their kids back just to be better than other kids, IMO, but not even having the kid repeat the grade and completely withdrawing him from school is wild to me.
  23. First you write pages blaming rape victims, now you're saying Africans should be thankful for the colonizers who oppressed them because they made their lives better? Something is not right in your head.
