  1. For reference sake, it was 1869 when the US supreme court went to 9 justices, roughly 38 million people in the country (1/10 the current population) and all kinds of new business law, technology law, industries, etc. etc. etc. An expansion 155 years and 300 million people later doesn't sound like a horrible idea. I'm not saying go 10x or anything close, but....
  2. That may be. And I would still say that has a lot to do with the behaviors and actions of the Republican Party.
  3. Wouldn’t agree the Republican Party is dead. Far from it. I would say however that the current state of the Republican Party is very, very closely related to the behaviors and actions of the Republican Party.

  5. All these numbers and multipliers and symbols…..makes my head hurt!!
  6. True story: after Hurricane Ian we didn’t have electricity for two weeks. So ALL our meals came from the PitDock… At the end of that canal is a vacation rental home. Most people who are renting a vacation home for a week don’t know….YOU DONT FEED THE ALLIGATORS. When humans feed alligators, alligators lose their natural fear of humans, and start associating humans with food… We often see alligators heading down to that house. One time during a post hurricane cook, one swam down to the house, realized no food was there, started swimming back….and stopped when he got to the dock staring down me and the kids (teenage to early 20’s kids)…. i got rocks and started thrown them not at him but by him hoping to scare him away…..he just kept staring…. So then I pelted him a couple times. Both times he ducked under water…then resurfaced in a different location…still starting. Okay guys, everyone inside…. (Went and grabbed my gun….bang bang…..time to spritz the pork butt)
  7. No Mon. Dem be alligator infested waters.
  8. If this trending story is true the case should be scrapped and start from scratch. (Which means there probably wouldn’t be a case, can’t imagine they start that work all over again)
  9. Here’s one from the vault @Husker_Du My beer brats: low boil in Miller Hi Life, then on the grill with cabbage and red onion. Homemade slaw. Flank steak pinwheel. I’ll send a pic of new redecorating I did on the pit dock (subtle furniture changes) next post.
  10. It did and I actually didn’t eat any of it that night. But sho did get on those sammiches the next day
  11. What if you had a 401k from like 30 years ago, that you were into maybe a year and a half, and you hadn’t thought about it at all until you came across a wrestling board discussing 401k’s. Could that be worth much (if it even exists)? No reason….just something that popped in my head.
  12. When it comes to how I vote, and how I spend my days……yes, of course. (Comprehending what you’re reading helps)
  13. I understand that. And with that in mind, according to the picture (if inflation is in fact the sole cause for the picture), then it must hold true that inflation has been on a steady, constant rise for the last 40 years? And that picture is not actually a reflection of the strength of the current economy, but just par for the course…
  14. I believe I have tried to discuss with you the effectiveness of running your mouth on an anonymous message board about world problems, you didn’t want to hear it because you were too busy trying to win a war from your keyboard (that is still going on). Back to the point of ‘know what you’re talking about’….I can assure you sitting back is not part of my program.
  15. Is that a reflection of the strength of the economy, or of corporate strategy and consumer ignorance?
  16. Not able to get down and dirty as much here lately.......but I guess I could always go to the vault if I need to.
  17. Would prefer to talk about the size of the workforce as a whole instead of cherry picking things, but I guess that does fall within my original question after all....
  18. First of all, I didn't vote democrat for president, nor did I vote for whoever Donaldson ran against. So, if you're going to start with that kind of talk when I'm allowing you the opportunity to have a nice little give and take conversation, at least know what the hell you're talking about. Now that we got that cleared up, can you tell me how your life has been negatively impacted by Joe Biden and (enter whatever congressman/governor etc). Not newspaper clippings or internet clicks.......your day to day life has been impacted by.... (And I'm not at all saying it hasn't been, I'm honestly asking how it has been)
