    It just seems so hard for an athlete that young being able to sustain that level of intensity through college and senior level.

    I think at the senior level, folk won't work. These guys are so defensively good that getting control would be that much more difficult. I don't think anyone would score. But what is interesting is if you watch Taylor and Retherford, they have incorporated folk positions in free, especially the arm bar and half that Taylor uses to pin.

    When I watched the US Open and Final X, I noticed how the US officials rarely called activity clock violations. It became obvious after watching the ranking tournament matches.

    I stopped listening to the show a while ago. I cannot listen to the banter and tangents. If the shows were distilled down to the facts presented, it would be around ten minutes long.

    The Phoenix area does not have a large enough venue.

    Based on how hard it is to get tickets regardless of the venue - wrestling fans will travel anywhere. I show below the largest arenas in the US. Some cities are not in traditional wrestling regions, but who cares? For instance, having the nationals in Florida would be great! It will still sell out and boost wrestling in FL where it is very popular in HS.

    I think Zahid looked pretty good until he gassed. He had three clean takedowns on Brooks.

    I was surprised how poorly they did based on their results earlier in the season. And you're right. It's been six years. They should be challenging for a trophy by now.

    Thinking about the match, I think Vito beats RBY every time (PSU fan). But it also looked to me like RBY had already checked out.

    Totally agree! I got an odd vibe from RBY as well.

    Home and away singlets. For tournaments, the schedule would tell a wrestler ahead of time which singlet to wear. So instead of a ref thinking red / green, they think home / away like most other sports.
