  1. The news of Lucas Byrd being on medical RS was a rumor I spotted in the summer on twitter (x?) but until now had no idea if true. He's one of my favorites and will miss his wrestling this year but Madrigal/Brower is a great set of replacements
  2. Seeing West Virginia in there caught me a bit by surprise. Separately I know New Hampshire is not a big wrestling state, but Timberlane used to have a strong program and it made me wonder whether they might have had one. Guess not. Thanks for sharing this
  3. Thanks for the shout brother. I don't have it going back historically, but I do have the last two years stored separately (would be easy enough to combine). It would be a fun project to keep it going back historically though.
  4. It's the same thing in essence. I think everyone knows that
  5. So the time of one month has surely passed by now. Pretty cool and interesting that there were zero transfer requests made as a result of a major coaching change. I guess having academic standards and network of Stanford puts you in a spot where once kids get in, they will be unlikely to leave. Real Woods and Joey McKenna are a couple examples of guys who did though.

  7. Jersey Mikes is becoming more than just a sponsor!
  8. Looks like Hines may be big enough to try and go 149 and make room for both Crookham and McGonagle in the lineup. Brignola is also massive
  9. Will Betancourt who once wrestled for Ohio State - transferred to Penn State but did not wrestle - has ended up at Rider and is expected to start for the Broncs at 125 while returning starter Tyler Klinsky takes a redshirt year.
  10. I think it's been a very long time since the idea of balanced budgets could be associated with either Republicans or Democrats. Unfortunately both parties have decided that in order to win votes, you must over-promise and by the time we as citizens have to face the music, they as politicians have moved on to a different role and don't have to be accountable. Sad to say the Tea Party that rose to fringe power in the last couple decades actually had a point about fiscal responsibility, but while members of their broader party remained relevant, that particularly important message was lost.
  11. Ragusin always seemed to be longer than Cannon, but people hold weight differently so who knows
  12. It's been awhile since a good old match preview thread. This offseason can't end soon enough. This dual should be very close
  13. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It looks like Cerritos College and East LA College are close enough to go to some matches.
  14. No idea when its happening, but I'm very interested in McGonagle vs Crookham in the Lehigh room
  15. And if the suspension gets withdrawn, there is a Paniro Johnson thrown into the equation - crazy depth for Cyclones at the lower weights. Sounds like Perryman vs Terukina is expected to be somewhat close as well
  16. Iowa State: 1st Round - 10/21 at 10:30 AM - Finals 10/26 at 6:30 PM As others are posted, please let us know
  17. Also Joey Milano was originally announced as a transfer from NC State to Purdue. He has not joined Purdue after all and appears to be pursuing an MMA career.
  18. Jordan Slivka seems to be done with wrestling as a one time national qualifier that has two years remaining eligibility. He did complete four years at Ohio so he may have graduated.
