    If this post didn't exist, would any of the keyboard warriors even have known he was there? ESPN mentioned it once, and never even showed him in the crowd. If you missed the 2-second blurb on it, chances are good you wouldn't even have known. Much to do about nothing.........

    Blame ESPN for wanting to take like 10 minutes between matches. Gotta try to recoup all that $$ they are losing by not being able to show MBB or WBB tournament games. I like what I State (and many like ours) did---moved all the awards to the end of the contest, and do it all at once. Makes the matches move at a much better pace.

    Gosh---what other forum can I come to and read about intolerance, hatred, bigoty.........and at the same time get a history lesson on Socrates and Plato? Oh that's right.....just about everywhere else in the Interweb.

    Well--, 1- Many former Presidents attend events. What does the fact that he was "former" have to do with it? 5-Are you kidding? Both former Presidents Bush and Obama STILL make everything about themselves. Many don't rise to that level without having a bit of an ego. Other than that, who cares whether he attends or not? ESPN won't spend more than a couple minutes on it and then move on. Probably won't even do an interview. Much to do about nothing, IMNSHO.

    That, in and of itself, would be a shame. Sort of tarnishes his legacy, IMO. I petulant move that would be view as such by many. .

    What if a kid gets knocked out in the semi-finals, or breaks an arm---we've all seen horrific injuries throughout the years. Do they expect those wrestler to get up out of their hospital bed and come to weigh-in? Now--with that all said, 5 minutes after the match last night I stated that was the last time we'd see Lee wrestle in college. No way he comes back the next day......not being prophetic, just that many of us have seen this in the past and just sort of knew...

    Ladies and gentlemen, I have been to the Great Wall of China, I have seen the Pyramids of Egypt, I've even witnessed a grown man satisfy a camel. But never in all my years as a sportscaster have I witnessed something as improbable, as impossible, as what we've witnessed here today!
