  1. Is it real? That is all I want to know. If it is supposed to be humor then yes, it is in bad taste. I remember only too well the sportscaster "bit'n Marve Albert" & his hooker problem and the wife beating pro QB Warren Moon.
  2. What..., you thought that "J" stood for Jenius? Then again, he may well be. Any man who can go through 6 Bankruptcies and still be thought as a great business guy...
  3. Does this mean he will out Fererari the joker who does the splits & salutes the crowd..., for Jesus?
  4. He is going to go to Oklahoma State and meet Kirkvleit in the NCAA finas. Kirk who has been getting pointers from Anthony Cassar so Steveson will have bookend losses to a Nitwitty Lion. -
  5. You think it is bad now..., wait until Brooks gets his personally autographed Donald Trump Bible - hand written by Jesus himself! (ane here you thought the J in Donald J Trump stood for Jenius)
  6. Don't ever wrestle a tournament match against a guy named Bubba!
  7. He is going to OSU to wrestle for David Taylor.
  8. Popolizio is a Rules guy. Sanderson a Rules tempered by mercy and reality guy.
  9. "You see more non-great in their sport coaches in Basketball and Football at the highest level (some never having competed in the sport even). Doesn't work in wrestling." ---------------------- Ed Gallagher, Oklahoma A&M (now OSU). In his wrestling coaching career at Oklahoma A&M, his teams went 136–5–4, including 19 undefeated seasons and 11 NCAA titles. ------------------- On the other hand we have Kevin Jackson. Hell on wheels on the mat. A great one but didn't make it as a head coach. Mark Schultz is another, though his school quit on the team so we never quite got to see what he could really do as a coach. Overall, being a wrestler who then coaches is an advantage. Given that, it is the intangibles that matter as we have seen in the true greats as they work with their kids.
  10. Yep, you read it here first. Before the Cinnabutt breaks it... The Ferrari clan is headed back to OSU to wrestle under new coach David Taylor & crew. Cheerleading squads will be updated and taught to do cheers that feature Splits & hand gestures when these great young men take the mat. Coach Taylor will commission a special OSU uniform with a Ferrari logo for them along with a Bright Red Ferrari arm band for the rest of the team. John Smith was a grumpy old grampa..., David is the future and smart enough to get great wrestlers no matter what anyone says!
  11. Very few great wrestlers go on to become great coaches. A lot more to running a College program than a great resume on the mat.
  12. Add up all the time these three have between them as Coaches and you will find it measured in weeks(or maybe even just days?), not years.
  13. If you read the Bible it is not a sin to enhance a womans breasts so why not this?
  14. He did what he believed best for his family as well as his coaching career. Danny Gable went to Iowa - the hated in State rival that had never won an NCAA Championship. He left his home school which had won 7 National Titles.
  15. Usually the seating closest to the refreshment..., or the bathroom.
  16. That's right. The NFL plays on SUN, MON, THU and even SAT. No TUE games.
  17. Guys coming in will need more than a year to really pick up what a new coach offers. Look at the Transers to Penn State. Most don't pick up "The Penn State Style" on the mat. Too often they have to try and overcome what they are doing and fail to build on it and add what Cael imparts to most of his other guys. The jury is out on whether Taylor can push guys to the top as a coach. It won't be a nice first year and a Title the second as Cael did. It is going to take him longer and until OSU beats Iowa Taylor won't be considered a success by the fans.
  18. Bet Taylor would take the spot and OSU would cheer him on in every way. A current Olympic Gold would really help recruiting.
  19. Gable now decides to go to Oklahoma State and wrestle for Davie the Magnificent!
  20. He was probably promised the job. Nothing in writing... and we all know an oral promise isn't worth the paper it is printed on.
  21. Those in charge of the Olympic Games KNOW this will happen every time. Why do they hold qualifiers in Nations that present a danger to some of the participants - as in this case a specific Nation: Israel? They obviously support this type of bigotry or they would make sure no qualifying location was set in Nations where this happens.
  22. He is a Mormon. Women are basically property. If he makes it to the Celestial Kingdom as a God he will have many wives as Polygamy is the Order of Heaven.
  23. The only thing Iowa can really count on is recurring Herpes problems in the room.
