  1. Stalling is an art form taught and mastered by most nc state wrestlers
  2. At this point, I think it has to be Haines. Henson is a beast with quality wins over Sasso and Milner but Haines’ resume is a little better. That could change next week though
  3. That 197 Allred dude from Nebraska is pretty tough and not talked a lot about
  4. Agree 100%. It pains me to say that as a VT fan but the dude is really good. There’s nothing flashy about him but he gets his hand raised a lot.
  5. I hate he didn’t get in. He’s a tough dude but the injury bug got him this year. I knew he’d be a tough out the first time I watched him wrestle. As a true freshman he pushed VT’s Gustoffson hard and nearly beat him at the southeast open in Roanoke
  6. 149 - VT’s Henson
  7. I hope Austin wrecks Scott. He was a punk last year and hand gestured he broke Austin after beating him. Austin was wrestling with one leg basically. Dude is a warrior and proved it by still AA’n
  8. Props to Austin. He dominated BA and earned the win. That’s the first match I’ve seen BA do absolutely nothing offensively.
  9. Tune in tonight for a must see match with Bryce Andonian vs O’Connor. BA is 0-4 vs Austin. Maybe tonight or in the ACC tourney he gets his first win. Either way, it’ll be a very entertaining match. Bryce tossed him a couple times and wouldn’t shock me to see it happen again.
  10. Mesenbrink has trained with James Green. Not saying that gives VT an inroad but James liked VT and there is a RTC there
  11. Has anyone heard that VT is a consideration?
  12. Has anyone heard if he has narrowed his choices down yet or a speculated place he’ll land?
  13. You might be right. I think Robie said in the post nc state match interview he wasn’t happy with 125. Eddie is ranked too.
  14. You are king of the internet today. Congratulations
  15. They scrap on Feb 10th. Austin has won the previous two matches against Andonian. Andonian threw O’Connor in the first match. I think he avoided upper body the second match but can say for certain he will in the dual and ACC tourney
  16. I hope you are right. Based off his reported injury, lack of wrestling and forfeiting last Sunday, I honestly didn’t expect to see him wreck Scott that bad. There was a noticeable difference in skills tonight and Scott is a really good wrestler.
  17. Andonian smoked Scott. Nearly pinned twice. Bryce gave up a reversal and backs, otherwise he’d got the TF. He’s a gunslinger though and will risk back points to get back points. At times, he looks totally disengaged from the match and them bammmm!!! Go see this dude live if you have the chance. He’s the most exciting wrestler I’ve ever watched live.
  18. With the exception of Iowa and psu, VT has one of the higher attendance levels among all programs. And the ACC, particularly VT and the pack have held their own vs the B1G
  19. I don’t remember the exact quote but the Iowa dude he described his mullet after a win. That was hilarious
  20. Andonian wrestled his first official matches past Sunday at the purple Raider open. He won his first two matches convincingly but got hurt in the 3rd match. I heard he wrestled basically with one arm and squeaked a win but forfeited his finals match. Rumor is it’s a shoulder injury. Guess we’ll see if he wrestles Friday vs the pack
