  1. Cuba does great in Greco, but their once proud freestyle program is fairly awful now. (and seems to be getting worse)
  2. And volleyball and a ton of others. Why don't people get that the Winter Games have to do with ice and snow?
  3. Thank you! I say this every time this comes up. i don't know why people don't get it!
  4. Boxing and weightlifting were on the chopping block this time, and were spared. Wrestling wasn't even considered at this juncture.
  5. Thanks! Your VO2 Max seems to be doing better than your ability to make a point. Allegedly.
  6. You were literally responding to a post that talked about improvement of Iowa's transfers. I used Woods as an example of a transfer that has improved. The post also did mention Woods, you chose to ignore him.
  7. However, it does look like wrestling is safe for now. UWW must remain vigilant.
  8. ... and you were responding to a post that mentioned 141. Is your Vo2 Max up to 85 yet? You might want to divert some oxygen to your brain.
  9. Alirez beat Woods in the finals this year. Gorgeous 6 pointer. However, Alirez went out of his way to tell Justin Basch that he knew beating Woods was going to be a daunting task, because Woods had beaten him the year before and had 'gotten a lot better.' Alirez flipped the results, but I think he really believed that statement.
  10. I hope Aaron is well, but I am sure he has convinced himself that whatever injury befell him is part of God's plan and will make him stronger.
  11. The free year complicates things. I think Has 5 years to do 4 after the free year... now we are talking "injury redshirt"
  12. Also says AJ has three years of eligibility left. Is that accurate? I think it might be with the "free year."
  13. I am going off what the previous poster stated. CA_Wrestler always has fantastic info. It seems to me as if NK doesn't participate in enough events to be caught all that much.
  14. Yes. I went to Nashville this summer, wrestled zero matches and had a fantastic time experiencing the culture especially around the Broadway area.
  15. Listen: I am a ref. If I ever do UWW worlds, I'll skip one of my snack breaks and ref matches between sessions for the guys who went 0-1. I'm sure Zain Richards and other World Team members of all ages wouldn't be demeaned at all by this. They clearly are not up to snuff and need the experience. I do expect my fee of $6.45, however. I'm not going to miss out on eating some Kraft Mac and Cheese heated up by a member of the local booster club for free!
  16. Not misleading. Vito wrestled at a higher weight than Yianni. Why was Vito at 138 and Yianni at 132? (and did they all wrestle for AWA?)
  17. I think Vito was a weight above Yianni as high school seniors?
  18. Glory was a big boy, too. One of my son's club coaches was a Cornell guy. I honestly do not know if it is hyperbole, but I have been told there are days where Vito was heavier than Yianni.
  19. Just wondering where these particular WADA cats would be from and how they are treated, level of access, etc. (and how much does WADA even bother under these circumstances?)
  20. Yes... but I'm talking about his walking around weight. It's not like he wakes up weighing 135 lbs on a typical October Friday morning.
