  1. Photo of pro-war rally, standing with soldiers with the "z" on their uniforms.
  2. Word was that he was going there last year, until they landed Davison. It would make sense that some sort of deal may be in place.
  3. A lot of people are saying "keep politics out of sport" on social media, in defense of Saduleev. That is part of the problem: Saduleev was involved in using his sports achievements to promote the war. This was when politics and sport were initially mixed. Also, he is apparently a member of the Dynamo club which is allegedly heavily aligned with the FSB, SVR, some shady oligarchs, and Putin.
  4. Not just supporting it, but involved in what could easily be called "fascist pro-war demonstrations." Definitely being used for pro-war propaganda.
  5. Words have meaning. You said McGregor was a "below average fighter." That was what I disagreed with, because it is a stupid statement, Then you posted all sorts of insane charts that no one read. Then you denied that you ever said he was a below average fighter. Take the L, you charlatan.
  6. Hold on! Not only have you been exposed now as a liar and a total clown, you are actually a sanctimonious jerk. "sub - bar?" what does that mean? Who are words hard for now? Maybe upper-level buffoons, such as yourself. Good day, sir. I await my apology. Tool.
  7. I am not a "fan-boy." I am in reality. The guy was a great fighter, and had a major drop off after becoming successful. That is all. How can you call him "below average?" Clearly lacking in intelligence and judgement.
  8. Well, you can certainly understand his point. Dude got smashed by a sophomore in NCAA finals.
  9. Below average? Clearly not. No way. What he did to Mendes, Aldo, Alvarez? Not below average. Who were the two meatballs? Cerrone and whom? No way.
  10. "The Treigning Lab" posted an Iowa Wrestling logo last night with no explanation.
  11. Not PSU or M2 from what I've seen. Does PSU still have columns to smash into in the middle of the room?
  12. I, for one, appreciate you using the correct spelling for "berth" btw.
  13. Where is there a bigger, better wrestling-only facility?
  14. I believe it was announced, somewhat cryptically, last night.
  15. Well, that may all change! Now they have associated themselves with "Coach Cal" and the "Treighning Lab" so they will have access to the same pseudoscience and modern chemistry as PSU and the NLWC!
  16. Not so sure about this anymore. It seems to have gotten a bit muddled. Yoel Romero defected, but I'm pretty sure he eventually was allowed to return. Cuba was taxing him a % of his winnings, if I recall. They have been doing the same with MLB players. They need money badly.
  17. ...to the point of weirdness. Just ignores the actual way the commentary went and has spun his own bizarre narrative.
  18. Who made it about him? He was asked his professional opinion and gave it. You, sir, are grasping at straws. Nowhere did anyone say JB was infallible. He was ASKED his opinion and gave it. He didn't make it about JB, it was DC who made it about JB. And at what points did we talk about "correct" opinions. That's just weird, man. It seems as if #1 You didn't watch the broadcast; #2 You don't understand the role of color commentator; and #3 you think you are infallible.
  19. Yes, JB is there for color commentary. Color commentators are the experts and provide inside info. It is often expected that they provide anecdotes and opinion based on their expertise.
  20. He had a good NCAA tournament and it was a great story. OTT could be very very ugly for him. Between the weight cut and the knee, he is asking for problems. It is likely that the weight cut alone will put him at a disadvantage to guys like Carr and O'Toole. Another thing to think about: He can't wear a knee brace in freestyle. If the knee is anything like we have been led to believe, a leg lace isn't going to feel great. He didn't like it when Dieringer was about to lace him up a year ago. He might like it even less now.
