  1. I was at that dual. Was on a business trip from Vegas to the greater Pittsburgh area. btw, Phillippi is a 4x R12 guy (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023). He was an NWCA AA in 2020.
  2. Five career losses, three of which were in the national finals (two in OT, the other a one-pointer). 2019 Pitt Dual: Phillippi, 3-1 2019 NCAA Final: Suriano SV-2, 4-2 2021 NCAA Final: Bravo-Young, SV-1, 4-2 2022 NCAA Final: Bravo-Young, 3-2 2023 NCAA Semi-Final: Arujau, 11-3 MAJ

  5. Correct. All of the ESPN+ streams were available on-demand following their respective session. Tricky part when looking for a specific bout is determining the mat assignment and how far to fast forward into the four-hour recording. I estimate the timestamp by estimating 2hrs for a full dual meet (e.g., 157 takes place ~ 1hr into the stream) and then using the MATCAST stream to find the mat assignment and view the individual mat's stream.
  6. I am surprised the Lehigh's Hines handled Jack so easily. There are some (not me) on the Lehigh forum that were lobbying for the coaches to pull Crookham (blue-chip 133) out of redshirt to replace Hines in the lineup.
  7. Says the guy who was so excited to pick Spencer Lee right out of the gate.
  8. That used to be the rule, but not anymore. In the past, not making weight at any point of the tourney resulted in all team points being voided. I recall Joe LeBlanc from Wyoming getting a 'pass' on the rule when he missed weight on the final day in Philly (2011). I believe the rule was formally changed after that season. https://gowyo.com/news/2016/6/29/577408c3e4b0bdd131ac7726_131479675871300026.aspx
  9. I don't understand why Lee would lock around Ramos' body from his knees? From his half-shot, he could have protected himself much better by transitioning to a leg attack. Seems that he was inviting trouble.
  10. Maybe he could take lessons from Starocci?
  11. Blood Round update... Lot of movement now that placement points are racking up (for some). @GreatWhiteNorth @MizzouFan01 @idc2 @VakAttack @Jerry Callo @Antitroll2828 @flyingcement @Idaho @JVStateChamp @nhs67 @Perry @jajensen09 @goheels1812 @MPhillips
  12. Must be incredibly boring to watch Andonian and Lewis go live. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. At NCAAs, you never wrestle in the same session following a top-side loss. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Just wait… Lewis just started. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Who’s wrestling on the two mats that have been rolled-up? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  17. I assume would not have been in favor of the old rule that you only got two for the first TD. Each TD after that was only worth one point.
  18. It would take some digging, but perhaps a look into brackets when we still had OT matches with criteria (and Ref Decisions) to break ties?
  19. Session 3 update... @Jerry Callo @Antitroll2828 @idc2 @MizzouFan01 @GreatWhiteNorth @jajensen09 @Idaho @nhs67 @JVStateChamp @VakAttack @Perry @flyingcement @goheels1812 @MPhillips I've also updated the Draft board to show bracket status: Semi-Finals; R12; Done
  20. A list of goals that include: 4-time state PA champ 4-time NCAA champ 3-time Olympic champ ?-time World champ (can’t remember the number for this one… 9?) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. I believe I read that Mean Gene was around 145 for his 118 final. Can’t remember… did they have night-before weigh-ins back then? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I’ve updated the draft selection page, providing a visual look at the current status (championship, consolation, eliminated) for each of the picks. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eze6IbcFHbIbVy3x6PkCYowK3kdUYBuhVvo2ZncA4ek/edit Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. …and my response: (1) offered encouragement that it is not difficult; (2) gave directions on how to get to the website; (3) showed where to look on the page; and (4) provided evidence of what following my suggested path would provide. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Not hard to find on the NCAA website. If you don’t know how to get there, a simple Google with the keywords: “2023 NCAA Wrestling Brackets” Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
