    Pretty Simple 2020 - Started as true freshman - counts as 1 year against eligibility 2021 - Started Does not count - Free Covid year 2022 - Started Counts as 2nd year of eligibility 2023 - Red Shirts does not count That leaves him with 2 years of eligibility

    I doubt Sadulaev walks around much more than 220 unless he has gotten really fat. I expect when he is training hard and in great shape his natuural weight is 97 kg without cutting. Gable is probably mid 250s so I would guess there is a 40 lb. difference. Sadulaev is the best I have seen but that amount of weight against a great wrestler is a lot. I think Gable would be to much for him.

    It was decent of you to put the word allegedly into your post at one point. I doubt that AJ will be showing up at any campus to participate in athletics until such time as the ongoing case is resolved. If the case is resolved and AJ is not found guilty of any criminal wrongdoing is it still your position that " under no circumstances should AJ be anywhere near that program."? just curious.

    I would say the 1st 3 spots are J Smith JB and Big Bruce - As for the last spot DT would have a pretty good claim if he won gold in 23 & 24. That would give him 2 Olympic Golds, 3 World Golds and a W Silver. However his claim might get murky depending on what Snyder and Dake do in 23 & 24. If Snyder were to win both I would put him ahead of Taylor (especially if were to beat Sadulaev doing it) If Dake were to win both it would be a close call.

    Do you know which conference they will be qualifying through?

    That is technically true but if you want to show the whole picture you should specify that in his last season of competition when he was a heavy favorite to win NCAAs he was not allowed to participate in NCAAs.

    He did compete his freshman year - he just wasn't good enough at that time to be one of the best in his weight.

    Schalles was not allowed to wrestle at NCAAs his senior year for some arcane reasoning - I can't recall the details - that year he did beat the NCAA OW who was at 177 (Floyd Hitchcock Bloomsberg) who would have been 1 or 2 weights above him. Wade would have competed at 158 or 167 that year.

    Navy should have Wask (#22) coming in from NAPS - Penn will have Cosgrove (#39) coming in at 197 - he will contend with Urbas for the starting spot. Army has a good class coming in this year but I don't know if any will go diectly to WP or if they are going to MAPS.

    I doubt it - If he were to get another year he would have a great shot at the NC at 157 - 165 will once again be loaded KOT, Carr, Amine, Hamitti, possibly Haines if he doesn't RS - I think he would stay at 157.

    In order of closest to being locks - Lee, Yianni, Starocci, Brooks RBY - the other 5 weights have to much parity to have a strong favorite.

    Is Younger wrestling for Cuba really an option? It is the case that he defected from Cuba as did Echimendia isn't it? - If that is not true and the Cuban government just sent him to study at ISU that would be different.

    That may be true but it was only the case because most rankers were assuming that Quincy Monday was moving up to 165. Monday confirmed he was staying at 157 prior to the beginning of the season and he was the obvious choice as the #1 guy for 157. I do not know if the various rankers updated their preseason rankings with that info but they should have.

    I think Kharchla wants to compete in FS at 74 kg so I expect he will stay at 165. I have been expecting Sasso to move up for a while but he is in his 5th year in college wrestling at 149 (counting his RS year) so I am not sure that will happen either.
