Top 3 in conference is not a huge accomplishment when there are 6 teams in the Pac 12. He does not have pick of West Coast talent.

I'm not sure - He looks decent sized but I haven't seen any weigh ins on him. That would be an interesting lineup with Davison - Slav .... They have Rogers ready to go next year but I see him as more of a 184 than 197. Someone more in teh know with NW and Michigan should weigh in on that idea. That would be interesting.

I have no insider info, but it actually still could have been true. Slav was rumored well before Davison hit the portal. When Davison hit they may have went a different direction- and if given the chance, most teams would. There are a lot of conversations going on with a lot of Plan A - Plan B - Plan C scenarios.

@Jason Bryant experience goes way beyond this message board. This message board is not the end all for a person to form an opinion about wrestling. With Twitter, instagram, facebook, team message boards, national message boards, direct interaction with groups of fans through the press, and actually covering the NCAA tournament, Jason's interactions about venues goes way beyond the posters on this forum and even their experience at different locations. I am sure he's heard more complaining about every topic connected to wrestling than the average fan. There will always be those who complain about a location and others who love a location. It's the nature of things just like any topic. If you don't realize that wrestling is sometimes it's own worst enemy, then you haven't been around wrestling as more than just a fan.

It is devastating if you still win the NCAAs without them? The Hawks needed Woods to hang on to second way more than PSU needed Beard and Kerk to hang on to first IMO.

Yes with an addendum: Teams with similar acronyms may combine points with exception being if you have placed in the top 2 in the previous 2 NCAA tournaments. OSU might have a shot.

Tulsa was alright....I traveled around and saw what there was to see. Kind of a spread out city. I don't think I would ever go back. Wrestling was great. My seats were really good so I am not sure that I cared too much about the arena itself. It was pretty fast to get checked and get inside. Food was expensive like everywhere. Fan expo was decent.

I wasn’t very impressed with the field at Folkstyle nationals this year. Not a lot of ranked wrestlers there this year. It looks like a lot of great matches at Elite duals this year.
