  1. Its hard to bet against McKenna, but for my money its hard to pick against Alirez. The only knock on PantsLayLow is the potential cut, otherwise he's right there with McKenna, I hope he shows up in A+ form Lugo I think is the biggest landmine among the guys who have no shot at winning it. He can upset anybody, but he can also lose to anyone. I never give Bartlett enough credit....
  2. But still same.same, not close to snyderman
  3. I'm just not sure if you're giving big Cass too much credit . I'm worried the offense, down a weight, might be too much . But otherwise, very fair
  4. It's just hard to change your technique to fit more active, lighter, opponents
  5. Thats just that. Just a guy doing what he knows, he's not a future rep. Light guy going up to Heavy has potential Heavy guy going down to light.... Good for that guy ..
  6. If I was going to embarrass myself it'd be at 70kg . It'd be the most reasonable unreasonable way to go out . I weighed 189.7 this morning. Ran 3 miles at 9min/mile pace and never lift heavy . I'm old and it's real . But if somebody offered me $147.65 to put on a singlet and embarrass myself at the Senior level for the enjoyment of the forums. I'd do it at 70kg.
  7. I'm a huge "Cox-Potential" guy.... But I'm settling into a "Cox-Reality" guy .... Snyderman has been a top 2-3 guy at an Olympic weight for the duration... Which is longer than Cox has been a hit and miss guy, at a non-Olympic weight . Snyderman owned him last time out . I dunno, in reality he's Kollin Moore. But I still hold out hope, he has a chance ..
  8. Hahaha holy typos ..sorry lunch with the wife . And 6 (which is even funnier) swipe to text killed me
  9. I would be life . He has at least 1 sub-20second match . But I'd be scores a single point. I'm entering next year
  10. Lockett vs Ferrari. Former training partners... Love it . Gimme Lockett 5-4
  11. I wrestled with a former HS wrestler yesterday, he showed up to BJJ practice looking to prepare for Senior Nationals (65kg). Lol we did live takedowns for about an hour (he got 0). He's like, man you're great, you could challenge Burroughs you think? .... I was like, I'm 39, overweight, and had 4 beers before I came up here. He says you think you'd make the finals in Fort Worth? I again let him know, I wouldn't score a single point. He said, well if I can't beat you, do you think I have a shot at top 3? I was like, whatever happens, enjoy the experience. He just didn't understand the skill level of our best. But just checked the entrants and he really signed up
  12. Great dual with a few weird spots.
  13. Cardenas, ouch but should get pulled back in
  14. Chlebov is the only one I'd be surprised to make the semis. Man we came prepared for day 1, knock on wood
  15. U23s have been hot-fire. What a start. I'm already surprised
  16. It'd be a shootout between you and Jacques
