This is absolutely crazy if true. This is a HS senior. He had previously committed to U Miami before U Florida put this deal under his nose. Controversy swirls over $13 million NIL deal for Florida QB recruit Jaden Rashada (msn.com)

Gotta give credit to Indy, they won the toss ups and got the needed bonus points. Having Alvarez and McDermott there probably would have not made a difference. 141 Oliveri won by major, and the 285 bout was a toss up.

.....and the 3 guys he beat ?

Sammy Alvarez: continued trouble with weight
RYou replied to flyingcement's topic in College Wrestling
Note that Alvarez remains listed on the Rutgers roster. The door is ajar for his return per Goodale and staff, though the constraints in doing so are unstated. He still has a redshirt available though its torn for this season and whatever scholly money he had may not be available. Spring term begins 1/17 so we'll see. -

Arms are too short for an ankle pick, but the double blast worked well.

Sammy Alvarez: continued trouble with weight
RYou replied to flyingcement's topic in College Wrestling
My thinks you are assuming he missed 9 times. When a wrestler has weight issues, what do coaches do? They put him on the scale after every workout. He made weight on Friday at Bloomsburg, then isn't even brought to Rider because he's over at the morning workout. That's on the wrestler not the coaches. Obviously Goodale and the other coaches worked with him over 2 years. No doubt he's got talent, so they gave him more than a few chances. Maybe they should have thrown their hands up last season. They didn't so that's where they are today. It was an opportune time to separate allowing Alvarez a shot through the portal for the spring term. -
Opening with that knee kick would likely find himself on the ground and unconscious from the head slam. Nah, he's not from the streets, pure head case. I doubt there is any coach that would want that head in the room, far too much baggage.

Now for the federal side of that inflation coin. As of January 1, 2023 the following Biden tax hikes will take affect $6.5 Billion Natural Gas Tax - increasing household energy bills and manufacturing production. $12 Billion Crude Oil Tax - increasing household energy, transportation, production and supply chain costs $1.2 Billion Coal Tax increasing the cost of producing electricity $74 Billion Stock Tax - choose to sell stock back to a company the tax will be charged will reduce your 401 K / IRA $225 Billion Corporate income Tax hike on businesses - to be passed on up the supply chain No end in sight for these inflationary policies. -
That appointment is akin to the one Biden had from Penn. Do nothing for $1,000,000. She'll be obligated to attend a few fund raising events on campus, but never have to appear in a classroom.

I don't mind the pop ups, I know Intermet enjoys the revenue. It was interesting to observe the female body on every page. without having a topic titled Ladies of the Internet.
-
One other question, why am I constantly seeing women's underwear ads in the pop ups on this site? My wife freaked out when she peeked over my shoulder one day. She accused me of being an internet cheater on porn sites.

I have 2 email accounts, Google / Gmail and Microsoft / Outlook. One I use for trivial communications, the other is for personal business, online shopping, bill payment, etc. Both receive virtually the same amount of spam, though Outlook spiked tremendously in early December and had persisted into January. (Coincidently, it occurred soon after enrolling in the Intermat forum and using the Outlook address). There is a distinct difference in the 2 when it comes to spam identification and sorting. Microsoft/Outlook is horrible. It sends marks and sends valid notes to junk mail even though it has ignored previous valid notes. On the other hand, it totally ignores readily identifiable spam, ex. grqtcvmske@xxxx.com. Gmail on the other hand sends all of that spam to the spam folder and I've never had a valid note sent to the GMail spam folder and it rarely misses a spam note. I've been contemplating terminating the Outlook account in favor a new #2 email account. Which free email / webmail providers do you think do a better job of identifying and sorting spam and phishing?

You are not recognizing this is a criminal statute. Good luck trying to get a summary judgement hearing.

But the rule(s) do not state "event", it references "date" of competition. Let's say a team wrestled a tri meet on Sunday, with 2 duals and then had the third dual the following Friday. Clearly that is 3 duals over 2 dates, same as the collegiate duals. There is no exception for a tournament transpiring over multiple dates. Same follows for Midlands if wrestling attached.

1st amendment, civil rights violation. The First Amendment applies to government oversight and action, private individuals are permitted to behave differently and may place rules or restrictions on your ability to freely speak. There are some limited situations in which an individual is technically liable for First Amendment violations. First, if you can prove that a single person is acting in conspiracy with the government to restrict a person’s rights, you may have a case. Additionally, some states have created their own, more stringent protections of people’s rights, and in these situations, your protections for free speech, religious practice and more may be more comprehensive than what is offered in the Bill of Rights. Title 18, U.S.C., Section 241 - Conspiracy Against Rights This statute makes it unlawful for two or more persons to conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person of any state, territory or district in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right (speech) or privilege secured to him/her by the Constitution or the laws of the United States, (or because of his/her having exercised the same). It further makes it unlawful for two or more persons (FBI agent and Twitter employee) to go in disguise with the intent to prevent or hinder his/her free exercise or enjoyment of any rights so secured. Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to ten years, or both

Just an aside from the main topic..... could that be the last year the 10 champs were from 10 different universities?

When was the last time you saw 7 of 10 DI bouts end with a pinfall? (Penn State 50-3 over Central Michigan)
