  1. I actually keep it in an Excel file on my computer. As far as the site, it's not mine, it's @Jason Bryant's.
  2. https://almanac.mattalkonline.com/2022-23-division-i-individual-results/ (note: this was not updated with conference or NCAA Championships results)
  3. https://soonersports.com/staff-directory/jason-leonard/80 "Jason Leonard became the executive director of athletics compliance in December 2006."
  4. Leonard was actually hired in 2006, during the Jack Spates era. You are correct, though, that the decline in Oklahoma's wrestling fortunes dovetails exactly with his hiring.
  5. Bellarmine as well. They aren't eligible yet, though, so they really are "sleeping" in terms of postseason eligibility.
  6. Not to toot my own horn, but I really don’t think anybody can say it any better than this:
  7. The modern Olympics had their first edition in 1896. The National League predates that by 21 years, and that’s just that I can think of at 4:30 in the morning… That said, I don’t suspect Oklahoma’s wrestling is in any bit of danger of being dropped.
  8. Oregon State was the other team. Also, that was an individual tournament, not duals.
  9. The Holzhouser Building, of course! Basically a shoebox large enough for a mat and about 1,000 fans, and not much else...the NC State/Virginia Tech and NC State/Missouri duals there were absolutely INSANE!
  10. Alex Dieringer got a #1 seed as an At-Large once...
  11. Slipped my mind, but not having a fifth-place match where they earned four automatics really hurts the conference. That's something that really needs to be looked at during the offseason, and it's something that other conferences that don't place their whole field (most notably the conferences with "Big" in their name) have figured out.
  12. ACC is almost always the most chalky conference…just look at how few of their guys are in the police blotter…
  13. I know the answer to the first question...Arizona State with 7 in 1988 is the lowest since they started having qualifiers. Not sure about top four.
  14. In football and basketball, this sort of thing happens all the time. For a wrestling example, occasionally Penn State (and possibly Iowa) does wrestle guarantee duals (ie. Penn State pays Clarion more than Clarion could hope to make in Tippin Gym, called a guarantee). (I know in the past Penn State has given Lock Haven a guarantee dual, not sure if that's the case with Clarion, or if Clarion is hosting next year)
  15. True, but the EIWA still got the Ivy’s bids.
  16. 2021 is a bad year to use…that was the year they were forced to use historical data due to the truncated season.
  17. He'll be fine...has the winning percentage and will have the coaches' ranking (unless the 14 coaches that rank 149 have sudden amnesia about who he is, minimum for both of those is 8 matches).
  18. I never have...and jumping into the minds of 140 (counting all of them once for each weight they have) college coaches is not something I intend to do...
  19. I was only shocked because I was hoping he'd end up with the (then-open) Fresno State job instead after he got kneecapped by the Grand Canyon administration...of course, Cal Poly worked out far better for him than Fresno State would have (in likely being kneecapped again by admin there).
  20. Classic case of great minds thinking alike. It isn't that long ago (2016) that CSU Bakersfield won the Pac-12 regular season title.
  21. I'm not generally in favor of wrestling posters being dropped but in the case of NearFall I think it needs to be considered.
