  1. At least USA Wrestling stopped this and will never do that again.
  2. Glad to see he will be able to get the treatment and care he needs going forward. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/courts/story/2023-05-28/wrestler-camp-pendleton-settlement
  3. The house was located at the top of the hill at the end of a winding road. It wasn't obvious that the house was there, but everyone in town knew that it existed. They were just all too afraid to ever go and see it in person.
  4. Donahoe appeared on a gay porn website and was violating NCAA rules about using name, image or likeness then. It looked bad for Nebraska too but if it happened now it wouldn't be an NCAA violation.
  5. I think it depends if Yas decides he wants to go at 33 or not.
  6. ASU not looking too bad. A few questions though. 25: Figs should settle in and be an immediate threat to everyone. AA unless something happens. 33: Chlebove might be the guy. Also might be Yas. Will be interesting to see. 41: Vasquez if he can stay injury free has the talent to be an AA. 49: Parco. 3x AA already so we know what's coming. 57: Jacori Teemer is back. 2x AA already. Could end up with a championship. 65: Negron maybe? Chance McClane transferred from Oklahoma State. 74: Cael Valencia is here. Zane Coleman hit the portal so after Valencia not much. 84: There are a few guys who are here. Nobody who is a threat to be an AA. 97: Norfleet leaves a hole that needs to be filled. Fagen might be the guy. 285: Schultz is the guy unless he takes an ORS.
  7. Jacori Teemer coming back for ASU this year.
  8. It isn't like he was throwing matches or using insider information. He was just betting on games. Would they have done that if he participated in a weekly pool or an NCAA basketball bracket contest? The worst part of that was Neumann giving him $500.
  9. https://vault.si.com/vault/1998/11/09/confessions-of-a-point-shaver-former-arizona-state-star-hedake-smith-reveals-how-he-and-his-accomplices-fixed-basketball-games
  10. That's kind of what happened to ASU basketball in the mid 90s. Their star player got involved with an on campus bookie who had mob ties and they fixed 3 or 4 games before they got found out. The last game they tried to fix actually got taken down by suspicious casino bookmakers in Vegas who alerted the FBI. One of the local gangsters who got involved ended up getting murdered because ASU beat the spread and people lost a lot of money. The player for ASU didn't end up getting drafted into the NBA and wound up doing prison time over it.
  11. Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix. Glendale arena or whatever it's called at Westgate was the home to the NHL Coyotes until this year. Also Chase Field right across the street from the Footprint Center. I suppose if they felt like slumming it, they could also use State Farm Stadium which has a retractable roof and seats 70,000.
  12. I wonder if by then August Wesley will be representing Uranus.
  13. I can think of at least 3 venues suitable for this. Have you not been to Phoenix since 1992?
  14. I think she makes a comeback in 2024 to win another Olympic gold.
  15. This just dawned on you now? This has been going on since limitations were placed on scholarships.
  16. I think Africa/Oceania isn't as tough as Pan Ams. But that's just me.
  17. I realize the time spent on the knees applies only to on the mat.
