Taylor is young, has star power, and is idolized by today's top recruits. He will be a power recruiter right out of the gate and has more star power with young kids than Cael. He could build a dynasty over the next 20 years. Second Taylor loads up on young, well known assistant coaches, regardless of whether they are alum of Ok State. Third Taylor lands hot new transfers like Wyatt Pindrickson. Immediately OK State vaults from the middle of the pick to the top and is the biggest treat to Penn State. Isn't this basically what Iowa fans wanted their staff to do?

Yes, I get he went to Penn State and not your favorite college. And yes he's way over the top with the Jesus stuff. But why are American wrestling fans upset that he's going to represent the USA at the Paris Olympics? It seems odd to value your college allegiance over your national allegiance. There are literally American fans rooting for Yazdani to beat Brooks.

Ok State has just vaulted back to the top of the pyramid by hiring DT. I think Iowa could get right back in the game with a few hires: Head coach: Jordan Burroughs Associate head coach: J'den Cox Associate head coach: James Green Yes, this means firing the Brands but replacing them with the GOAT in JB and Olympic and World medalists in Cox and Green. Any reason why Iowa shouldn't do this?

DT and his family have several businesses in State College - M2, his wife's juice place, their farm. What happens to M2? Surely DT can't continue running it as HC of Ok State. And it seems he can't run a similar place in Oklahoma while coaching. It would make most sense for one of DT's friends/proteges to continue M2. How about Jason Nolf? His style is probably closest to DTs.
