From Intermat write up match was basically 2-1 with penalty point for each and push out for Jesse. Desperation shot by Alirez resulted in Jesse 4-1 win. Not much action. Frankly, that’s crap. It was the one big match. Was for a fundraising event. Wish they decided to put on a show and make wrestling look like a great sport. It is an exhibition. Have some fun. Do they get any coaching on this point? Told to act like it’s Worlds?

Perhaps this will drive universities to focus much more on academics and use sports as a means to enhance physical well being and the character of its students as they prepare for more traditional careers. Will be more like club sports. Relatively low cost … but no longer a major distraction. Will also find ways to cut bloat and reduce the major arms race expenditures on athletic facilities. (Maybe for some. I bet a few will really lean into this type of ruling and be more like, and care more about being, a professional sports business, than a university.)

On Dake - has anyone ever heard that he is a good coach or has qualities that suggest he will be a good coach? Taylor showed a passion for it with his youth work. Dake is a big name, but not sure coaching is his thing.

I was following the logic. Made sense. I would have put money down on Coleman. But I’m reminded again and again that there are many variables hidden from many. So much that goes on in life. I figured someone would use this to crap on Pyles. Too good. From Pyles, right off bat, they hired a firm to help find a coach. Before OTTs. Had serious candidates but couldn’t land them. So Pyles was right — hard looks elsewhere from the start. Then DT reached out … hmmmm. And yes, Pyles thought the answer was no … turned out to be wrong. What an idiot!! This assumption that there was a presumptive heir has been a bad one apparently. No matter how logical it seemed.

Feeling DT can do better staff wise than Gilman. Don’t know the guy, and DT is smarter than me at this stuff. But just seems like he could attract someone even better for his staff.

Shit. I’m answering. If you set up a program to find threats against planes, one of the things that is doing is deterring attempts. That is a WIN! When you set up a system to prevent X but that system is not perfect, does that mean to have no system? Search online on how many things the TSA does find. Google is your friend. Is it perfect no. Does it serve as a major deterrent yes. You do your side no favors by continuing with these posts. Some are likely a bit embarrassed.
