  1. Will the tooth fairy come to Paul's rescue next time he tries to type a topic title or h
  2. I like to think of it as me mashing Bob in the face. Wipe that grin off your face, Bob.
  3. In Cael We Trust. Always. Have you learned nothing lo these past 14 years?
  4. One more thing I failed to mention. The #1 gets the #8/#9 winner in round 2, so whoever wins there gets a huge benefit if #1 injury defaults. And then the loser of #7/#10 (I believe) gets the #1 on the cosol side. So I think it is 7-10 that would benefit from a Starocci double default.
  5. Yes, #1 and #2 get the byes
  6. He makes it pretty clear in his press conference that he did not know the criteria for requesting a coaches' vote on re-seeding.
  7. I like the points penalty idea. It only hurts the team breaking the rule. There are no unintended consequence penalties imposed on others.
  8. The only thing I learned is Yashika Dutta is a really bad writer.
  9. I guess I have a glass house problem. I have called plenty of people dumb. Sure GWN is needlessly confrontational and preachy, but his post did not make me cringe. Willie's did.
  10. When it comes to Big 10 seeding procedures, I think that is fair.
  11. If he wanted the Bouzakis match he would not have attempted to call for a coaches' vote to change the seed from the pre-seed, which he appears to have done, but was denied by...a policy you could say.
  12. Addressing Brody Teske's #14 pre-seed at 133: Brands: "There's just funny, there's funny things that go on." Translation: I still have no idea what goes on. Brands: "The timing was right. And, you know, we are going to do what's best for our athletes first. And in my assessment, in the program's assessment, it was right to get the timing right for the wrestle off." Translation: Look, clearly I had no idea what the timing of the Big 10 seeding procedure was when I decided to do a wrestle off after the Big 10 deadline. I mean, isn't that obvious by now? Hell, I did this two years in a row. Brands: "I have already said probably more than I want to say about it." Translation: Who the hell let this guy in the press conference anyway? Brands: "And away we go." Translation: Maybe next year I can make it three in a row. What were you nerds even talking about again?
  13. I paid my tribute. Jimmy is dead. Long live Jimmy.
  14. I am still upset they did not bring you back for FRL 1000
  15. I think conference seeds are based on conference results. They are both 8-0 in conference with 5 common opponents. Hamiti's results against those five are marginally better than Messenbrink's.
  16. Not 70. That would be his father if he were still alive. In this story, Bunji is the son.
  17. Ahhh, bringing your act here from GIA. Welcome.
  18. Clyde Thomas "Bunji" Fretwell III and his late father have a pretty unsavory past. https://www.heraldtribune.com/story/news/2007/09/28/authorities-say-woman-85-lost-thousands-in-home-repair-scheme/28580346007/
  19. I seem to remember coaches could only argue to move up one slot, but maybe I am wrong.
  20. Nope. There is just one inflation per time period, regardless of what marketing terms you are workshopping.
  21. You have your priorities straight.
