Idk, I think any true wrestling fan will be watching the MATCAST or the specific matches, not the ESPN broadcast that understandably misses a good deal of the action.

Everyone is complaining about DC, but it's probably a strategic decision to get the UFC fans watching wrestling. When flipping channels, they'll see DC commentating and immediately stop. It's a smart decision even if he is a bit all over the place.

No kidding, I was freshman year of high school teammates with a dude who got a full ride to Northwestern. He was literally benching 315lbs coming in to summer workouts FRESHMAN YEAR. 181lber. With that being said, I did see Snyder's clips of him benching and lifting 1 rep maxes, and they're not really that impressive numbers. I expected a lot more weight to be thrown around by him.

He just posted a video of him doing a strict barbell curl with 156 lbs. Impressive, but him doing ego lifts like that always seemed outrageously dumb to me. First of all, who 1 rep maxes barbell curls, second of all... you tryna pop a bicep?

Julian Ramirez didn't look very impressive, either. Pretty sure he's gonna get smoked by Messenbrink if he gets to him.

First time Starocci has been taken down all year... Not sure that means much considering he wrestled 3 matches all year.

DAMN, okay that should come with big expectations then. As far as the other comments on Bono, I think it's more of a factor of Askren holding a grudge and taking over (and elevating) the state, rather than Bono not performing. I really don't know how he can get out of that hole, or if anybody else coming in would be able to mend it. I'm interested to hear if any insiders have information on that.

I do think the OSU dudes underperformed aside from Logan. Funny thing is, Tom Ryan literally didn't recruit him, he was going to OSU regardless of who the coach was because he was a Buckeye born and bred. I don't think Tomasello overachieved, he was a monster coming in and stayed about at the same level he came in at. As far as Sasso never beating AOC, idk about that one. He was literally winning until like 45 seconds left, gave up the takedown, and almost got a final TD to win it at the buzzer. He blew that one. Speaks to the previous comment of these guys not having the clutch gene.

Manning wasn't calling out Nick Suriano, but Cael. Everyone knows Suriano would've gone out there if Cael let him. He let Nick prepare as if he was going to wrestle when he knew he wasn't going to let him. Wasted his and everyone else's time.

Good points. I just don't understand why more athletes don't out their colleagues who are on gear. It's gotta be pretty common, hell, I knew plenty of dudes in high school on the stuff.
