  1. If Ungar wasn't such a boring wrestler to watch would say Ungar vs. Davis is up there......Fix vs. Bouzakis (having lots of time off scale) should be a good one though
  2. Yeah that's why I said possibly not defintely, but solid chance for two.....will be interesting
  3. Vulture? Crookham is a Finance Engineering major, one of the toughest degrees to achieve from Lehigh, a highly rated university, he is one focused individual.......I don't think Lehigh had to "vulture" him..........
  4. How many schools other than Lehigh and Penn State could possibly have two #1 seeds?
  5. Truer words have never been spoken........
  6. I have very little doubt at this point that he will be wrestling all year, with a few days off to help weight management....for instance will probably only wrestle one day this weekend either Penn tonite or Navy tomorrow.........but not definite yet, we'll see......
  7. Should be another good EIWA matchup following on the heels of Lehigh's dramatic come from behind win over Cornell in the Snakepit last week 17-16. Crookham vs. Colaiocco is the biggest ranked matchup. Much like Cornell dual expect a lot of back and forth in this dual again as there are a lot of difficult matchups for both teams......
  8. Cornell won last year 18-15....... Last year was the 100th meeting between the two teams in a rivalry that began in 1910 Cornell has record of 6-4 in last 10 duals Historically Lehigh holds a 63-34-3 record in the meetings between the two (but who's counting)
  9. Some great rivalries in college wrestling, I know 95% of the people on here only want to talk Big Ten or OK State but this is a great traditional rivalry in wrestling......and with Cornell bailing on EIWA will be the last time this is a conference dual.....
  10. With Vito most likely out should be an interesting dual. Assuming Stanich wrestles you have some great matchups in: Ungar vs. Stanich Cardenas vs. Beard Fernandes vs. Taylor Would guess Cornell wins based on high bonus point probability at a couple weights.......
  11. No, I've had to sit and listen to him whine at duals and EIWA's for years now, he's literally unbearable and I am a fan of the military academies and their programs........can't believe he gets away with the way he acts as a coach at one of the academies.........
  12. Probably got tired of listening to Ward's whining and screaming from Army Corner and took it out on Pasiuk......
  13. So what is best way to view Midlands without having to buy season's pass to Big10+ ? Is there a monthly rate?
  14. I'm sorry, but who said I was assuming that? Sounds more like you assumed that was what I meant, although it was not......I just think they'll figure it out, Crookham may move to 141 if weight is difficult for him or Stanich may jump to 141.... with young college wrestlers and holding weight/growing plus a full year in college weight rooms you never know........since it seems pretty clear Stanich can't hold 125, that makes him already a 133.....with another full year in the weight room and possibly growth as an 18 year old, 141 is far from out of the question for him.....
  15. There are racist fans in every sport, just as there are racist people in all walks of life........wrestling community is no different than any other.......doesn't make it right, it just is what it is.......
  16. No, I doubt that. I would think Stanich will red shirt this year and then Crookham and him will be the 133 and 141 of the future.....as for McGonagle I just don't know, he has 1 more year after this eligibility wise.......will be his 6th year at Lehigh, he may choose to graduate transfer or he may stay to see what happens, I can't see him at 149 though, just doesn't have the frame.......is a shame, he's been a heck of a battler for Lehigh and improved thru injuries and weight changes.....
  17. wow, brilliant catch, and excellent use of sarcasm........you must really have worked hard for that Ivy degree.......
  18. Rumor out of Lehigh camp is he can't hold 125 for a full year, so making it most likely he redshirts since Lehigh has Crookham and McGonagle at 133 (although McGonagle and Hines wrestling 141 tomorrow at Sheridan)
  19. For talk like that he really should have wrestled his guy, kind of weak sauce throwing that statement out there after saying he could have gone but chose to hold him out. Awful convenient since they won't meet the rest of the regular season, where as Crookham and Vito could wrestle each other up to three more times..........put's Fix in a nice spot as long as he doesn't get upset along the way..... I mean if you're going to duck then duck, totally get why he did it put fix in line for 1 seed, but don't spew that nonsense afterward........
  20. Seymour is on red shirt, Lane has struggled this year with injuries. Bailey has some nice wins, just needs to work on his neutral game, tough on top.....
