Something I noticed from the post-match interviews with Ramos was how much he and the Purdue coaches gameplanned for the match, from watching footage to working on specific positions and strategies to give him the best chance at beating Lee. I mean if you're the best of course you'll have a target on your back and everyone will prep for you, but it was quite a contrast with Spencer saying he doesn't watch video or game plan for anyone, he just goes out and does his thing. He mentioned it in his GOAT Talk show on Youtube and Caitlyn Clark was pretty surprised by it. That's on Brands and the coaches for not doing their homework.

Spencer doesn't owe anyone anything after all he's done for the sport and us fans, but he should have at least gone out and finished what he started, and do it for himself. Brands was right that he needed to move on from the loss and I agree that showing up today would've helped him to process and heal from it. MFF only gives power to the haters and allows the loss to fester in him.

I think the replays are supposed to be on ESPN+. On tv, ESPNU is rebroadcasting the semifinals on Saturday at 7AM Central and the finals on Tuesday 3/21 at 9PM.

Fwiw, Glory said during the post-match press conference that he really doesn't care if it's Lee or Ramos, he just wants to beat whoever is standing between him and a national title. He seems pretty pumped for tomorrow. Also mentioned the early AM weigh-ins with lots of time before finals lol

There was a lot of early talk about how 125 will clear out next season with no stand out favorite. Ramos is definitely at the top of the conversation now, premature as it may be, along with Figs, Ayala, No-Doze, Idk who else.

Getting so close to but being denied historic greatness not once, but twice does things to a person. It can change you for the worse (much worse) or better (much better). Let's hope Spencer gets through this and comes out of it a better person.

Would be nice to see Lee get to 100 even if it's not the way he planned. But if he doesn't show up, that's fine too. Let him go on Spring Break, kick up his legs, sip on some Margaritas on the beach and be a college kid for a change.
