  1. Can't blame Woods, Jamison did close to nothing the entire match
  2. Impressive conservation of movement in Jamison's wrestling
  3. Respect to Teskee for staying aggressive, but that was a walk in the park for Fix. Great crowd at GIA today
  4. Maybe Ayala should shoot. Just a thought.
  5. They also have first and last names switched here and there on a few of the sheets, it's just another lovable quirk of our continental qualifier!
  6. Also I have no idea who Darth Caplan from Canada is, but he sounds scary! Someone tell Zane to use the force
  7. I think Negley is what happened when Tony Negron and Troy Spratley voltroned into a 197lber to wrestle Brooks for all the water
  8. Was he gassing or injured? Looked like his ribs?
  9. Ayala is still my pick, but the month of March is like kryptonite to Iowa so I'm not holding my breath. Would love to see Barnett and Poulin make a run, too.
  10. Is Vespa still around? I have no idea what year he is. Davis needs the reps anyway!!!
  11. I don't know why UWW has the top seeds listed like that, but the "draw rank" lists are just the top seeds alphabetically by country. The top seeds appear to be correct if you look at the printable entry list: https://arena.uww.org/weight-category/1eebc07c-3a32-6bf0-8a63-dd02aceb3ba6 I assume Seabass isn't there (or is not allowed to compete) because he's already qualified for Paris from Worlds last year.
  12. JB is my heart pick too, but the climb is looking pretty steep. More interesting though will be the JB/Dake old guard vs. the KOT/Mes/Nolf new guard coming in. They've got a U23/Junior World champion and U20 champion gunning for the spot, and Nolf has been looking sharp lately. CarStar is always a threat, but he's a tweener and doesn't like weight cutting so I am skeptical of him at 74kg.
  13. Pretty tough season for Edinboro. Young team. I hope the young guys enjoy their experience at Rec Hall. Except for Jimenez, because he's getting SHUNKED
  14. ? She was pregnant in 2022 but didn't Adeline medal every year since 2020? Olympic silver in Tokyo, a World title, and a World bronze last year.
  15. I say yes. It's Shunky time! Free the Shunk!! LFG!
  16. My guess is that it's handled on an individual school or program level. I don't think NCAA and conferences don't have any rules or monitoring anymore, just "guidance" on how to handle testing, isolation, etc. Hard to know for sure, but it sounded a little bit like Northwestern postponed their dual with Illinois last month because the team got hit with Covid and did a five day isolation. Some others thought it might have been ringworm, also plausible.
  17. I assume that was Cael's way of saying that a bunch of his starters have been sick with Covid
