He was fine. He is though, very verbose. The action on the mat can speak for itself at times...

I was surprised to see him at 84 last weekend. I really believed it would be a bit longer, which encourages me that he is on the quest he set out for. Shumate may not have a place with the Buckeyes until next season if Hoffman is able to hold it down and get it done...

Wrestled with Alan on an All Star team back in the day. He's one of my all time Ohio best. Generational indeed. Phillips won IM as a true freshman at 71. Had one HS loss to Ruth. I've always thought he avenged the loss, but I've never found it.

I agree. I just wasn't certain if anyone wanted to go back to '88.'
