  1. BIG+ has Minnesota vs SDSU kicking off in five minutes. I'm excited to see Salazar vs Berge.
  2. 125, 174, and 197 seem to be almost complete tossups and could be the weights that decide the dual outcome
  3. I'm not religious but I believe your approach as described above is sensible and agreeable
  4. What are some of the recent changes that happened right before or after the season began: Braxton Brown: 125 to 133 Nate Higley: 149 to 141 Gavin Hoffman: 197 to 184 Chris Foca: 174 to 184 who else?
  5. I actually spent a weekend in Danbury once as a young chap - the most memorable thing was the prison and the proximity to NYC.
  6. @BigRedFan what does it mean for Loew if Foca is up at 184? Will Loew do some sort of greyshirt/redshirt thing where he unenrolls to preserve eligibility? Loew seems to have gone on injury RS last year - maybe he is still injured? Any ideas?
  7. Here is a photo of nhs and I protecting WKN while he calculates the most likely 7th seed to lose first round using Excel for Android. He doesn't even need to look both ways crossing the street
  8. I am also in on this pact - we got your back WKN!
  9. 12/04/2021: Hamiti pins Olejnik 12/29/2022: Hamiti dec Olejnik 6-0 3/16/2023: Hamiti dec Olejnik 7-3 11/21/2023: Olejnik dec Hamiti 8-2
  10. that's a fair point. I actually enjoyed rooting against DT as a wrestler since he was such a heavy favorite most of the time. Maybe they should get Bubba Jenkins on the mic.
  11. Informative, keeps a pretty even keel, and shares the same frustrations as me (lack of action). That's why i like him.
  12. Shame about Hendrickson. It does make me question why he was participating in this sort of event if he is dealing with that level of injury.
  13. Here is something a lot of people are acknowledging and I already said the same myself: David Taylor is an excellent commentator. He may actually be the best out there at the moment
  14. 184 was satisfying to watch. 133 was thrilling 165 was frustrating (for Hamiti). He has stagnated while Olejnik keeps leveling up 285 was surprising - just how lopsided that was. Not even close
  15. One of the announcers seemed to get stalemate and stalling confused. And at one pointed called a stallmate.
  16. He kept beating guys in the beginning of the season and Illinois Matmen Open (I think this was the replacement for the cancelled Midlands, but could be mistaken) was where he announced his prescence by pinning Hartman, teching Conigliaro, and majoring Braunagel.
  17. Something sad to me about Hamiti: as a true freshman, his dominance against national qualifier level wrestlers (usually pinning them) was something to behold. As time went on, it seemed as if he lost every single match that was wasn't favored to win. I can't remember if he has ever "upset" someone since that fun regular season ride as a true freshman.
  18. For these lower to midlevel college matchups I view it as a learning experience for the likely student announcers. I try to view them similarly to the student drivers out on the road.
